- In this episode of Addicted Life we're doing some late winter steelhead fishing IN THE SNOW! One of our favorite things to do is fish for winter steelhead in the snow. Fishing in the snow is something every angler needs to experience. The 2019 winter steelhead season has been a challenging one. Lots of ups and downs on the river during fishing this year. We've been steelhead fishing from the top of washington to the bottom of oregon looking for these elusive fish. I used to ALWAYS fish with my friends. But a year ago one of them would always set a last cast time. Ever since then I started fishing by myself a lot more.
My best Winter was in the snow/ice....Clackamas in February. Ice floes and the whole bit on a Green Pirate Wiggle Wart (yeah, it was a while ago). Bout an 18lb chromer was my reward. One of only a few Winters I've caught, count myself lucky!
I still have the plug...3 fish by the hashmarks I cut. = )

Yall ever fished the really deep hole right above this spot i believe theres a yellow gate u park at to get to that hole where the waters running down the rocks i believe. This river has a killer salmon season too.

Just letting you guys know I live here in Aberdeen I love to Hell the steelhead fish I got four different Rivers we can hit if you guys ever want to come down the drift boat ready to go can hit the Wynoochee river humptulips river satsop river and a few more that I know

Hey boys. I dug (past tensed of digged?)that video. I have not fished steelhead much, but have many many hours on the Sacramento and Feather rivers in Northern CA fishing Stripers and Salmon. Your video was a perfect example of a typical day “grinding it out” to make a successful day with some good buddies. Just last year year I caught my “one” salmon on the final drift of an 8 hour day on the water. But what I remember most is the laughs with my friends. You guys made it real. Good job.

I've just never actually caught a steelhead my entire life. Long story rather tell ya out on the water. If you make it to Tenino Washington anytime soon let's hit the local rivers here. Still some decent winter fish in and I could use a hand sorting them.out😅

It’s always an easy answer for me, “well today ull be off the water around noon” I don’t fish all day usually, the worst is when they catch a fish then say I’m ready to go in lol ya don’t really fish with them anymore. And yes, I love fishin in the snow especially to have a slab of chrome layin on the bank

Dude yes! My buddy always wants to fish Erie in the fall. He calls "Hey? Lets hit up Erie" i say hell yeah, lets do it, ill drive. Its about a 2.5-3 hour drive up. We get there, he says "i can only fish a couple hours". I googled him the number for an uber.

Does anybody know of some quality waders for 50-100 dollars? I was looking at Cabela’s neoprene waders are they any good? An suggestions of other waders that are similar price but better? Hoping for some Cabela’s ones but whatever is good.

I think you coulda caught some more of those fish if you just would have thrown something else at them. I can understand if you only want to catch a fish on a worm, but if they've already refused it you could maybe try something else.
