Why is the Quinault Hatchery system so productive and successful? It’s because the state government or federal government doesn’t have their hands in it
The Quinault system is a perfect example of what many of our fisheries could be. But technically, one of their 3 hatcheries is co-managed with the US Fish & Wildlife Service. WDFW needs to wake up
yep everything the government has touched from healthcare to education to transportation has failed. imagine running a business with no repercussions or accountability that’s the government
You might be surprised to find out that the Quinalt Hatchery is operated by the...tribal government of the Quinalt Nation. So tired of this braindead take.
Actually, all their money does come from the federal government. It’s a federally mandated law that the tribes get a certain amount of money to sustain their fish runs. The reason the runs are so good is because they pretty much get to do what they want to do and they have a ton of money from the government. Therefore they have awesome fish runs.
Love seeing my tribal waters on your channel. Rich Underwood is my uncle and him my father and I have caught so many 20+ pound steelhead. Tandy is good people too!!! Also that’s my fathers boat my uncle rich and bill are in in the clip of the video showing Mr herzog if I’m not mistaken lol
Poor Beau lol 😆 that should make him aspire to be a better fisherman- nothing creates determination like having your fish stolen over and over again 😂 nice video boys.
You guys get a thumbs up from me for taking a child with you fishing and passing down a good time that I know that child will pass down to his children.. just because when I'm fishing I'm trying to help kids fish on the pier in St Joseph Michigan. Do the best I can to help those kids to catch fish.
Tandy Charley was an incredibly gifted athlete in his younger days. Heck ofva basketball player, but as a baseball player, his skill level was MLB. He had a cannon of a left arm! He could pitch for you or hold down centerfield. He also excels at putting clients on steelhead! Great guy, too!
Im a subscriber of Beau and his dad ...Great channel !! Beau's dad will tell you I taught him everything he knows about fishing...lol he caught more that day then I have in my life and I thought I needed to tell him what he was doing wrong....lol Beau you are a lucky kid getting to fish with one of the best .... Jordan isn't a bad fisherman either ... Lol That was for you dad... Im kidding jordan is the best Ive ever seen...
A trick to keeping your hands warm. Bring 4 or 5 good pairs of gloves in a gallon ziplock. When they get to wet and cold trough them on another ziplock and put on a dry pair. Works great!! I've done it duck hunting and Fishing many times. Great video!!😊
Braid offers less stretch and higher sensitivity, which can help set the hook quicker and stronger on those long bobber runs. I also like that braid just lasts! Sometimes you can run 2-3 seasons depending on how much you fish.
Oh man I wish I could make it to that bash I have that day off but my car won’t be able to handle the 3-4hr drive. It’s an old car I gotta figure out what’s causing the problem(s) and fix it good thing I do all my own repairs maybe I have time before the bash to fix I’ll have to see otherwise maybe if you have another close to me on east coast
i got a question for everyone here. so i leave on the east side of Vancouver WA (i think this is the one time in my life that i dont need to argue it being real) and i know i live near lacamas lake but the fish there are not safe to eat due to the algy bloom (sorry my spelling is not good) i dont own a car and only a bike. any spots i could go to get some trout to catch and cook?
It was a blast fishing with you guys. Thank you again for inviting us along. Awesome video
fatherandsonoutdoors is an awesome channel all in itself. So cool you can team with addicted chasing large chrome missiles!

Amen, one could even go so far to say there needs to be a revolution.

Should try fresh chopped sweet pickles or relish in your dip! One of my favorite things to add!

I LOVE TO GO FISHING 🎣🐟 BELIZE PLACECIA🛩️🌴🥥🌊
I love my tributary net especially the fact it floats 😅
Great video as always, but I have a question , does the cold water affect the braid?
Ever since my nephew moved up to Oregon iv been taking him on my fishing trips.. I'm waiting for that day he hooks into a monster
It will happen!
I always use mono for main line i prefer the stretch for fish for strong fish n jumps can you explain why you run braid and some advantages ?
Braid offers less stretch and higher sensitivity, which can help set the hook quicker and stronger on those long bobber runs. I also like that braid just lasts! Sometimes you can run 2-3 seasons depending on how much you fish.
God i hate it when it's too cold to fish, but at least you had fun
Get’r Done Boyz…!!!!!
Creeks up in erie will be stocked with trout and walleye will be getting started in erie then
I see the wader prototypes are in 😏
You guys should make a shirt that says

#lowholebo
I KNOW THEY SCREWED UP THE BROODSTOCKS THERE....THE FISH GOT SMALLER YR BY YR...SO SAD!
It'll forever be funny to me how every bobber down is ALWAYSSSS a fish. Even when it's clearly a snag or whatever it's always "a fish" 🤣
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
