I love adding my frozen berries to a warm oatmeal it feels like having a scoop of ice cream on top of a warm soufflé 😋

Instead of a smoothie, I will have a nice cream and I like to add a scoop of protein powder and some granola on top.

Great combos! I do intermittent fasting daily (19:5) and use frozen berries to break my fast - after my fasted training (and half an hour after my pwo drink of spirulina). My regular is a big serving of blueberries, pumpkin seeds, almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, banana, cacao nibs, greek yogurt and a teaspoon of ceylon cinnamon and a sprinkle of cocoa powder. In addition, will add a tiny portion of either strawberries/blackberries/raspberries in a rotational manner. Apart from my greek yogurt (can't get organic), everything is organic and the nuts/seeds are soaked from the crack of dawn. Tastes divine.

I would just scoop out some frozen berries from the container and into a bowl. Then, eat straight from the bowl like ice cream. My teeth does the processing for me.

In Denmark it is recommended to boil the frozen berries for one minute in water on the stove. Fresh and frozen berries including raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries are a common source of food poisoning due to harmful viruses and bacteria, particularly the hepatitis A virus.
The main causes of berry contamination include being grown in contaminated water, poor hygiene practices of berry pickers and cross-contamination with infected berries during processing.

But "yogurt" began in Turkish, as yoghurt(there go the italics!). The Turkish word itself comes from an Old Turkish root, yog, meaning something like "condense" or "intensify," which is pretty much what happens to milk when you let it curdle into yogurt. Makes sense! And the actual dish has been around for thousands of years--not surprising for something as simple as "old warm milk"--and was popular in ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece (where they called itoxygala, "acid milk").
Once the word made its way to English, though, the going got a little choppy. The first written mention of the gloopy stuff comes in 1625, when a travel writer named Samuel Purchas noted that the Turks don't "eate much Milke, except it bee made sower, which they call Yoghurd." And then we were off to the races: by the 1800s, people were writing of "yahourt," "yaghourt," "yaghourt," "yogurd," "yoghourt," "yooghort," and "yughard," and even Evelyn Waugh, in his 1925 novel A Handful of Dust, had a character gobbling "her morning yoghourt." Without an Academie Francaise-style language dictatorship to keep English in line, stealing words from non-Latin alphabets inevitably gets kind of messy.
Adding to the confusion is the fact that, in modern Turkish, the word spelled yoghurt is actually pronounced more like the French word for it, yaourt, with the "gh" in the middle of the Turkish word just lengthening the vowel before it. It's unclear whether Samuel Purchas got the hard G in his "yoghurd" from writing down what a Turkish speaker with an old-timey dialect was saying to him, or transliterating from the Arabic script used in the Ottoman Empire, but either way, we took that hard-G to heart. It helps that, compared to the very Frenchy yaourt, "yogurt" is a lot easier for an English speaker to say.

Love these tricks. Great call on the frozen raspberries actually being better than the fresh with the "cheesecake" idea. I will try that. I guess cherries aren't berries, but in the vein of what you did, I use frozen cherries to make a cherry "nice-cream." I blend some with the bananas and milk and throw in some sliced frozen cherries for texture and depth of flavor. I sometimes throw in some pecans too!
