Die Gegend um Winnebach, wo auch die gute Pizzeria liegt, wird durch die ganz junge Drau (Drava) entwässert. Es ist die einzige Gegend Italiens, die in das Schwarze Meer entwässert (über die Donau/Danube). Der große Rest Italiens entwässert in das Mittelmeer (Mediterrean Sea), wenn man von einer kleinen Fläche nahe der schweizer Grenze absieht, die über den Rhein (Rhine) in die Nordsee entwässert. Südtirol kam zwangsweise 1919 zu Italien. Es ist die reichste Provinz Italiens. Wegen seiner Autonomie und der sprachlichen und kulturellen Besonderheiten ist Südtirol etwas Spezielles. Dort kann man manchmal lesen: "Südtirol ist nicht Italien". (South Tirol is not Italy). Danke für die schönen Szenen und die appetitliche Pizza. Leere Züge machen mich allerdings leicht depressiv.
If you look at the floor, it looks more robust compared to other multiple units such as Cityjet. This is because these South Tyrolean FLIRTs are used by skiers, who usually board the train in skiing shoes and transfer directly to ski slopes. Also the seats on low-floor parts of the unit are all tip-up seats, to accomodate bicycles and/or skis into every bay of four. Very clever design, adapted to the lines where these trains operate.
The dark version seats, as on your first train - those units are of the second and third batch of STA Flirts - are one of the most comfortable seats in modern regional units actually.

Actually the castle name is not Heinfeld its Heinfels the funny thing ist that the Restaurant at the foot of the castle is acually called Heimfels. 😂
