Ha! Ha! 😂 Yeah, the fifth time was the charm here! The four times prior to this, the tire would pop out on the rim and before I could get enough air in it, it would deflate.
Purdy Mouth yes we did. I actually rigged up a quarter turn valve in between valve stem base and the air hose so we could get the largest flow of air possible. We tried over an hour trying to seat the bead using conventional means, including the use of an air cannon and finally decided to break out the starting fluid. I was quite elated when we finally got the bead to seat. Thanks for the comment.

The first four tries I wasn’t able to get the air in the tire fast enough to keep it from deflating after it seated. We had already spent two hours trying to seat this tire by conventional means.
I've done this on some lawn mower tires, it works way better than you would expect.

According to myth busters, this was just a myth and doesn't work. That's why i hated that stupid show.
