Trying out the Dewalt 20 volt DCFS950 fencing stapler. I ended up driving over 400 staples with a single battery. I concluded that in extreme heat that you may want to let it cool down after extended use. Over all, so far I am happy with this tools performance.

The square rear axles say that it is a late model 1950 or newer. The decals maybe should be closer to the front on the side ones. But if he got the decals from Jorde’s, they would have told him where to put them. Mighty nice looking tractor. Mine may never be that nice, but I like to use it too much.
@DanielMeyer-Is5ph It is an early 1950 model. It has a magneto, the later 1950 models have a distributor. Thanks for the comment.

@DELTRANIO99 hey thanks! It would have been fun to have dynoed this car before and after to see any difference changing the exhaust made. It runs really well as a carbureted 305. Changing the exhaust seems to have boosted the engine power a few horsepower. I know it’s not a 350, 400, 454, etc, but it digs on the low end pretty well.

Pretty nice tractor, but the decals are not correct. Side ones and “be careful “ one. Square rear axle means that it’s a later year 1950 to 1952
@CarolMeyer-pv5ub It’s a 1950 model B. It has a magneto, meaning it was built earlier in the year. The B’s built towards the end of 1950 had a distributor.

Hey. In my opinion the drone isn’t bad. I’ve done a couple of several hour road trips and the sound level was livable. Not too bad when you’re just driving along. When you put your foot into it, it’ll sound off. It is certainly throatier than stock.

@octaviobmorales6141 LOL. This was my fifth attempt at seating this tire on the rim with starting fluid. The first four tries I wasn’t able to get the air in the tire fast enough to keep it from deflating after it seated. We had already spent two hours trying to seat this tire by conventional means.

The kit number is 40-3030. I’m not sure what the muffler number alone is. I’ll have to see if I can find it.

Ha! Ha! 😂 Yeah, the fifth time was the charm here! The four times prior to this, the tire would pop out on the rim and before I could get enough air in it, it would deflate.

Spent lots of time on a late 40s B working for a farmer when I was a kid, raking hay mostly. We always opened the petcocks to reduce the compression and let it crank faster and easier.. It had open flywheel so even started it by hand a couple of times.

Check and make sure the spark plugs are clean/new. Drain the old gas and put fresh Non-Ethanol gas in it if you are not running it daily. If you haven't overhauled your engine heads yet to accommodate Unleaded fuel, I highly recommend it.
I'll be getting my '51 B this Friday. Mine has been in parades and tractor pulls and has won some of the pulls. The engine has been overhauled by the previous, previous owner. I am excited to finally own my first B.

I used to own a 04 6.0 a programmer will wake u up the most changing the shift points really increases the output of your engine and it alters timing Ang airfield tuning tables I had the hypertech tuner and it woke my truck up a lot I already was set up just like you k&n cold air kit and true dual 3 inch but man don't hesitate program that baby then maybe some speed engineering stainless headers

Curious…it seems you like to hold the stapler upside down in your hand. - is it easier that way?
@Ted Jordan , I like to drive the staples in the post at an angle, not one leg of the staple directly above the other, as this can cause the post to split. So I tilt the battery end of the stapler upwards so when stapling the bottom wires I have clearance with the ground. Great question! Thanks!
