I remember my Uncle Martin told me when i Was 15 yrold 'hey kid, listen to this' while we were driving through the Desert highway to GUADALAJARA CITY. and i remember thinking in my mind, about those sounds like 'Damn, whats this!!!!' it Was just another concept of music to me.. but all that Album fit in through that trip.. Then LA. WOMAN started and it blew my mind.. I REALLY ENJOYED THAT MOMENT.. and now that he have passed away im thankful to him,for showing me WHAT REAL MUSIC IS.. AND SHOULD BE.. 👌❤ I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM FOR THAT.. ❤😎
The band is amazing, and the original members can never be replaced. They all had a very important role in every album they made, and each song created was magical and mysterious.
One of my favorite rain-songs
Without a doubt my favorite Doors song
Eh, I prefer "People are strange"
This is _the_ favorite Doors song... There is no better melting sound!
I wouldn't underestimate the importance of john Desmore in the group, i like his drumming
He puts a nice pace on this song
No band today can make timeless tunes like this. Agree guys?
Yes i agree whole-heartedly
Absolutely
No matter what happens in my life good or bad,i always come back to this song.
Good on you Rhino for uploading your own music, and not disabling comments like all of the auto generated playlist. At least we can discuss the good oldies from one record label.
WHEN MUSIC WAS REAL
Many eas ago, but like yesterdey
My dad of 76 loves this music. Way better than the crap nowadays.
July 3rd, the body may be gone, but Jim will still forever with us
Every time I listen to this masterpiece I have a goosebumps from beginning.
Hello 👋🏻 nice to meet you, hope you’re safe and well?
@@cheryldylan9506 hello there, thank you, I am good, how about you?
@@dafaceman2884 I’m very well thanks for asking, glad you’re okay.Nice connecting with you here.
I'm from New Jersey 🇺🇲.
God bless Ray. Ray was the glue. Ray was the motion. Ray was, though he would never admit it, The DOORS.
I wanted a song to play to my baby in utero that I could also play after they were born to sooth them to sleep as a reminder of the womb. I chose this song because I absolutely love it and I’m so glad I did because I will never get tired of playing it to my baby to send them to sleep… I always discover something new in the many beautiful layers each time we listen to it - as for baby, he especially likes the keyboard…
That’s so wholesome
Thanks! Ya went and made me cry,,, 😢 lucky kid 👍
Peace, love, and happiness everyone. ✌️❤️
One of the top 10 songs of all time!
Pues sorprendentemente, aunque sea una obra maestra es y será una de las mejores canciones de la historia, pero no figura aunque resulte paradójico entre las 500mejores canciones de la historia.😮
This band is so far ahead of their time that I sometimes think these guys were time travelers who cut straight from the future to the 60s and decided to form The Doors, so they made a deal like "let's try to play to their rhythm to don't scare them."
Also Jim was practically the blueprint for most frontmen afterwards
I’m Jim Morrison aka George Washington and I’m Jesus Christ ahahahh I’m really a time traveler ;)
My Doors are closed now what?
This Doors number is a true classic for eternity. The brilliant but tragic Jim Morrison had 3 of the finest musicians with him.Ray Manzarek RIP Ray miss you man.Robby Krieger great guitarist !!!!!!John Densmore one of rock music's finest drummers Those 3 just blended together so brilliantly. Their music will live forever !!!!!!!!!!!!!
my dad introduced me to the doors, never stopped listening to them ever since. Thanks dad!! ❤❤
One of the best songs of all time, everything about this song is just perfect, it feels like a trip in a misty and rainy day, everything is built so perfectly, a really trippy song, love it!!!
It's raining outside... somehow this song is so perfect.
Every storm, I play this song for the family. It's our tradition
Jim forever!!! here 2024.
Me 2024...my 6 years old son asked me to.listen😅❤❤❤He has a good taste🎉
I first heard the song on the radio while I was in a car on a motorway with my father when I was 5 years old, outside it was thunder and lightning and it was raining in buckets. However around that time I could't speak english, but I felt this mystical feeling and shivers went down my spine.Meanwhile I m 55 and it still feels the same. This song is not just a song,it is a revalation~[I was born on the first of december in 1966] Into this house we born.....Thank You Jim,Ray,Robbie And John🙏Namaste♾
This song will forever remind me of rain in NFS
Ft snoop dog
Già è davvero fantastisco quello scenario con auto e citta sotto l'acqua,e come sempre partiva questa canzone
@MrBrenman21 la discografia completa non la so ma li ascolto da anni li conosco abbastanza bene
Nine days straight of rain here in Santa Cruz, California. I know what you mean.

Still can't understand why didn't born back in the 60s and 70s, this is my kind of music
It isn't that strange to be a loner. It isn't that lonely to be a stranger either.
Shit I would say to myself homeless going across the country
It is strange to be a loner who is also an acid fiend, drunk and narcissist who threw it all away for more booze, more acid and just had to cheat and cheat until he finally needed Pamela but it was too late and now all the loner does is blame the heroin she was shooting up and giving him too while over in Paris.
Yes, it's a strange thing being a loner from Florida with a naval dad who never understood you so you move to sunny LA and do more acid while discovering film at UCLA and meeting your greatest friend who just happened to be this great, nerdy musician named Ray who carried you and your reputation even after you checked out.
Because you were a loner. And it was strange. So strange...
@@qwj68boots history is so rich
Amen brother
@@sethdominickortiz Yeah Man !
How lucky are we to witness this collective genius. Think what they could have done given another 10 years.
Jim seemed to be a fat drunk by the end. He wouldn't have lasted 10 more years. But I understand your point.
@mattscott4382 Look at what they did in not even 4 years though. Look at the albums they put out and the touring and everything it definitely took a toll on Jim.
A different time and a different world, it only we could turn back time. Love this song.
YES.. if we Cld only turn Bk the hands iof Time... 😥 😭
Listening to this praying to the heavens as I put my hands up it went from sprinkels to full on pour in SECONDS I heard "if you don't appreciate the healing waters , you'll never make it out the storm" I waited I listened and I felt all my anxiety rush out me I didn't feel cold just peace and harmony. As soon as my arms went down 5min later the rain slowed until I got inside than BAM as soon as i started praying. God's good God's good gotta listen he's always knocking open your door son.
Greatest band of All time, PERIOD.
Yeah
Queen for me. Doors are def up there. Top 4 or 5 easy.
It's raining and thunderstorm in my city right now, and all I was thinking about Riders on the Storm.
R.I.P. in France, Music lives Forever
This is the spookiest shit. I turned this video on while chilling and vaping some weed. I did that at the exact moment the news was announced that Former President Jimmy Carter died yesterday and I got the news immediately after the song ended. The air was perfectly still where I was at but I could feel it move through the room. I put off posting this but its been bugging me all day and I had to share with the surviving and extended Doors family.
That's what Jim really summoned up. Wow! It was one eeriest things I have ever felt on my own life trip here. Just had to share. The Doors continue to be a huge influence on me as a composer. Thanks for all the memories! :D
Impossible to not like this timeless Blues Rock classic.
I don’t have a Spotify playlist I just use the doors albums ❤
I listened to this on repeat, driving for 4 hours in dense fog....it was chillingly awesome😊 Its the most played music track I have ever listened to. Jim Morrison and The Doors were genius❤
When I was little, every sunday walked with our dog Sonja to the horses with my father. When we came home he put on the radio and asked me what I wanted to hear. This song always. But I called it the song with the sea. Im 54 now. My dad is 76.
My absolute favorite song from the doors and one of my many favorite songs to listen to when I am drunk & stoned out of my mind!
Me too
You'd enjoy it more sober.....
My first memory of this song, I was about 11 years old I was going to Cedarpoint Ohio with my friend’s family. This came on the radio and all eight of us in the car broke out in song. ❤I have loved the Doors ever since. 😊
Was listing to this just now; both my kitties and Boxer dog perked up their ears and looked up at the ceiling…they thought it was truly storming outside. The Doors could recreate nature so perfectly…wow!!
😻
The first time I heard this masterpiece was sitting in the radio shack of my US Navy Ship in the middle of the night cruising off the California coast! Couldn't have been a better sitting!😊
I just moved across country and one of my favorite vintage stores in my hometown plays this song, and hearing it instantly transports me back to that tiny cramped space filled to the brim with cool stuff. ❤️
I'm here Dec 2024 oh yeahhhh🎉
Just finished listening to the album for the first time. Easily one of the best albums of all time. My favorite Doors album along with their debut. Long live the Doors!! 🙏💗💫
The greatest keyboard piece ever. Just could listen on and on and the waves crashing in thunder sounds
And then there is Jim with his grave but caressing voice.
This and Light my Fire.
Solid mythical songs.
The legends live on
My late man loved the doors ,and this always remind me of him the doors ,Jim Morrison best band ever ,long live the doors ❤️
Jim lives on, 2024❤❤❤
This song use to boom through my mind riding with my then husband in San Diego...near N. A.S Miramar, Ca. The jets taking off... (1972) I was 18.....Hmmm seems like yesterday....Little did I know the heartbreak💔awaiting me......
Then Christ Jesus set me Free 🙌
Amen!
@@michaelpoole9595 Very appropriate Mike. But I guess my input isn't really needed here.
That ending fade... trippy guitars and keys with rain
Priceless.
One of the all time great songs. Robbie Krieger, great player.
As good as it gets, the keys are sublime, the atmosphere and rhythm....pretty hard to think of a better moment in music gold
I like this song since I was 13 years old. It has a haunting and intimate sense of loneliness in it which I can still recall. It is a master piece.
A masterpiece forever.Thanks The Doors 💫👏👏👏
Just a pleasure to listen Ray Manzareck..magic organist....giving tempo and rythm...in this dark song....the ennemy is in the road...brraaoouumm
