Hey just a heads up, the white crest with the castle and the three towers the soldiers are wearing are not Trosky crest. It is written on the shield that it’s Praga, and they’re under Markvart’s command so they must be Sigsmund’s soldiers from Prague
At the beginning, we see father Godwin at the same spot that we saw Henry dueling in the last trailer. He seems to be following their trail and then comes across a bunch of corpses being buried which may cause him to speculate that Henry might be dead. Later in the trailer, he finds them though.
Thanks for the rewiew. I have a few notes, that might be interresting (sorry if I include something alredy mentioned here). „Men proposes but God disposes“ is most probably an attempt of translating czech saying „Člověk míní a Bůh mění“ („Men thinks/plans/means and God changes“). I don´t think, that we have seen Markvard besieging Trosky castle in any of the trailers. We have seen two besieged castles. One of them is most probably Nebákov castle, and the second one probably Suchdol castle. And since soliders with Bergov crest (from Trosky castle) are often in the trailers portayed as enemies, they would be probably on the same side as Markvart. When Henry and Hans are in the stocks, we can see a guard behind them, wearing coat of arms belonging to Ota von Bergov (owner of the Trosky castle). And since Hans has really worn out and repaired hooses („throusers“), I suspect, that there is some undercover part of the game for them. Bohuta (Godwin) was actually confirmed by developers in some interwiew (I don´t remember which one, sadly). You mention Hussie wars often, but unles there will be some large time jump, we wont probably see any part of it. It started 16 years later. But I believe, that we will see a lot of sentiment, that led to that war. And I personally suspect, that at the end of the game, there will be some chilling nod towards it (in the terms of „the horros of conflict portrayed in the game was nothing compared to what is about to come"). I also don´t believe that we have seen Jan Žižka in the trailer yet (although I believe, that we could encounter him in the game - I just don´t think, that they would spoil that surprise). He most probably lost his first eye in childhood, so he is definetly none of the characters we had a chance to see (unless they decided to alter his story and let him loose his eye during the game, or unless they removed his eyepatch from trailers to avoid spoilers). That red coat of arms with three white towers is actually crest of Prague. You can even see a writing on a shield saying „Praga caput Regni“ (meaning „Prague, the capital of the Kingdom“). Since Sigismund held the Prague at this time, and claimed to act in the name of Venceslaws, it make a sense for Prague soliders to be in the army of Markvart von Aulitz (Sigismunds hetman). We have actually already seen not 2 but 3 ways of loading crosbow (which is soo cool). By hand and by the lever in the first trailer, and now with the pulleys. @@DerschwarzeRabe777 Yes, I think you can justify doing it any way you want, Czech actors, British actors, worldwide actors. There are arguments for every one, just produces a slightly different effect. I think that is just a legitimate artistic choice. I'm very concerned about this game. The writing isn't nearly as charismatic as the last game, it seems forced, and even awkward, There were so many instances where I genuinely laughed like during the "facsimilescut" scene with Hanush, or with the Bearman brithers during the band of bastards DLC, when they're talking the fresh air and flowers, that ends with one of them talking about bagging another one of the members mother, the devs seem to be desperate to capture that again, and I think form what they've showed us thus for, they have failed miserably. Everything looks to perfect, and they clearly lost the magic that made the first one so great.
There won't be a save import, the devs confirmed that. It's going to be like KCD1 where you can choose some dialogue options to set what happened from what I've heard. Edit: Also commenting on the resolution of textures while watching in 480p 10fps doesn't really check out. No offence but both KCD2 trailer reactions on this channel that I've seen have had appalling video quality..
Nah Henry is jacked up from the last game so he is in the perfect shape for the tutorial. Something bad happens tho weakening him and leaving him to live in hiding posing as a smith. Father Godwin is just a deus ex machina character who starts the new plot in Kutná hora.
@@RadekCrazy1 i'm pretty sure that in the beginnig of the trailer we see pov from Godwin, and then, when he says what he is looking for Henry and Hans, it looks like ingame dialogue, not a cutscene
The guy in the bath.....looks like he's in pain or something??? Looks like he was the one with Hank and Hans at that table at the wedding or whatever it was?
Godwin sounds like someone doing a passable Rick Sanchez impersonation in the first game - funny, but slightly jarring. This a different actor I assume?
That guy can also just be getting kicked out of a business for acting like a jackass and, if you act the same, the same will happen to you? Tobi didn’t 100% confirm it. He thought it was the same voice actor but maybe it’s actually not. But could also be a different accent by the voice actor? Some people complained about American accent in the last game.
@DerschwarzeRabe777 Thats what I was thinking is maybe they told him to change his voice for the role, I think the first games voice works well cause he's pretty much comedic relief most of the time
@@DerschwarzeRabe777 I know people complained like it was in some way inauthentic to have American accents but in reality, it's no more so than English or Scottish accents.
@@free_gold4467 agreed but now it’s more cohesive I guess to have the accents all from one area.
@@DerschwarzeRabe777 Yes, I think you can justify doing it any way you want, Czech actors, British actors, worldwide actors. There are arguments for every one, just produces a slightly different effect. I think that is just a legitimate artistic choice.
Personally, because I've played it a lot, I would rather hear the same voices that I know for the characters who reappear in KCD2, just for a more seamless immersion and I would find Godwin turning Scottish (I'm Scottish and I love Godwin) would jar a little.
Isn't henry a Lord at the end of the first game? Why is he smithing?
its confirmed as godwin and horse as pebbles
Looks like Bannerlord meets Kingdom Come Deliverance. Very cool stuff. i am hoping we get a release date soon.
Me too. I have it wishlisted on steam, but i want to know when i'll be able to get my hands on it.
pretty sure the supposed Jan Zizka character, has a clear eyebrow to chin scar that cuts across his face -
Could the guy getting thrown out of the tavern be Zbyshek?
Do we FINALLY get to make a sword? We became an expert chemist last game..................and we were the "Son of a Blacksmith".
i love these videos btw, but why do you download the videos to watch them? why not on youtube? its easier.
This is on Unreal 4 or 5? Instead of CryEngine like the 1st one 2:40 Confirms more hidden graves to dig up. Cool. Loved the alchemy system so hope to see more blacksmithin. Since he's a blacksmith. haha I loved the lockpicking. Great minigame. The issues were also for controller players, as KBM it's easy.
The base is still CryEngine but according to the devs you can barely call it a CryEngine anymore with how many changes were made to the engine.
@@betrandguesclin Oh really? Must have been another game I heard moved to Unreal 4. Oh yeah, that might have been Witcher 4.
I'm very concerned about this game.
The writing isn't nearly as charismatic as the last game, it seems forced, and even awkward,
There were so many instances where I genuinely laughed like during the "facsimilescut" scene with Hanush, or with the Bearman brithers during the band of bastards DLC, when they're talking the fresh air and flowers, that ends with one of them talking about bagging another one of the members mother, the devs seem to be desperate to capture that again, and I think form what they've showed us thus for, they have failed miserably.
Everything looks to perfect, and they clearly lost the magic that made the first one so great.
Its 100% father Godwin. Vavra said it on his facebook page
Am I the only one who thinks it doesn't sound like the Father Godwin voice actor?
There won't be a save import, the devs confirmed that. It's going to be like KCD1 where you can choose some dialogue options to set what happened from what I've heard.
Edit: Also commenting on the resolution of textures while watching in 480p 10fps doesn't really check out. No offence but both KCD2 trailer reactions on this channel that I've seen have had appalling video quality..
I wonder what if you are, Father Godwin, as a tutorial, lol
I wish it got better reviews most of the people that liked it was the ones that have already played it
I doubt we’ll get shadowmere at the start of the game, I doubt the from the ashes DLC is even cannon.
Godwin sounds like someone doing a passable Rick Sanchez impersonation in the first game - funny, but slightly jarring.
This a different actor I assume?
Game will not take place during the Hussite Wars. But maybe it will set up a sequel that will.
YEET
YOTE
That guy can also just be getting kicked out of a business for acting like a jackass and, if you act the same, the same will happen to you? Ya the wreath tells me it was some kind of a business and the suggested time of day is while it's light outside. That guy could also be a trader. His attire seems................uniform.

Are you Catholic by chance, I am Eastern Orthodox
Yes, I am indeed Catholic.
@@Dare_To_Game Cool man, I love my Catholic brothers and sisters. Good content man, God Bless you.
Imagine living in a country with a lot of power, corruption, wealth and debauchery. So glad I live in america.....................................eh-hem
Everyone looks like they are made up for a film. I like the skin textures from the first game. They seemed rugged and realistic. Everyone has perfect complexion and makeup on top of it. It's genuinely creepy.
Ups axidential skipped back 😂 yeah right 😂😂😂
that looks like Theresa! 10:18
Not really
no way dude
you can say want you want i bet its Theresa!
Eh I don’t think so
