Audrey has become a real KCD veteran joining the ranks. Your first playtrough of KCD1 was very entertaining and funny to watch and gave me some good memories back when I've played my first time of KCD1 back in february 2018. I enjoy your video's and are very entertaining to watch. Greetings from The Netherlands 😃👍💯
so i heard this comment i believe it was from a German magazine. the town of Rattay in KDC1 is about the size of 1 street in Kuttenburg in KDC2 so yea, this city is going to be giant. i believe they also said that the first map of the Trosky area is slightly bigger then map of KDC1, and the Map with the city Kuttenburg is slightly smaller then the KDC1 map, but it will be mostly the city, with just a few mining and farming hamlets around it. and the 2 maps combined, are just slightly more then twice the size of the KDC1 map.
(18:54) "This guy", I believe, is Father Godwin. You see him several times throughout both videos although he sounds a bit different. He's the one issuing the prayer about "not blowing our arses off" and wondering if it was all "retribution for his sins". Yea, it probably is. ;)
I would like Tereza in KCD 2, I would like to see how she would look in the game today. She was a beautiful woman, but according to available information, Tereza will not be in KCD2, and that hurts me.
Those of us that love this game are beyond excited. I really appreciate that a small studio like Warhorse puts in 110% to make the best game they can, I’ll pay my money for that always.
The only thing that bugged me in KCD1 was the inability to give any alms to SO many beggars who used to be Skalitz townsfolk - Henry grew up with so many of them, and yet can’t give so much as a single Groschen to the vast majority of them. Later in the game, I was sitting on 100k Groschen, and had already put like 70k into Pribislavitz - and couldn’t do a THING to help my neighbors?
I have loved all your kingdom come deliverance videos and i look forward to seeing you do the second one!(after i have been stuck in my own universe playing as much of the game as i can for 2 weeks, lol). I wish you and your channel all the best! Btw, i cried watching the game review. It was awesome
Hi Audrey :-) I'm looking forward to seeing you play KCD2. I watched all your videos from KCD1 and I really liked them. I won't forget the touching scene when you were buying AL-Burag. It brought tears to my eyes, too. Greetings from the Czech Republic.
KCD and KCD2 bring me back to when RPG games were epic adventures (Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, ME and DAO etc.) I miss when games were just games and developers didn't push out games in a year or two.
I played so much Gothic in my childhood (mostly known in Germany/Poland/other east european countries, no good english voices but remake will also come this year, hope it will finally make it on the international stage) and KCD feels like a modern Gothic (oldschool RPG). I also heard some KCD developers were Gothic fans :) I also still play Morrowind :)
Glad to see Father Godwin again, his visual image is based on the dad of Daniel Vávra, the creative director who started it all. And Jan Valta as composer again, I hope he does an extra composition this time so we don't get the tavern music before a battle. Common medieval trick was to leave the outer doors of the castle keep open, wait until a dozen enemies or so got in and then trap them by closing the outer door of the keep and throw heavy rocks on them. I'm Dutch but have not been to Czechia, hope to do that next year and visit the remains of Trotsky Caste and wander the beautiful region of Bohemian Paradise which is now a national park. Hope you will go there too one day Audrey: Rattaj, Talmberg and Sasau monastery are also still there to visit.
I've been to Prague a couple of times, but that was long before KCD. I'm completely immersed in my 4th playthrough since the announcement and I'm thinking of making the same pilgrimage as well :)
@@deltav864 Can I join you? When I was young (long time ago) I traveled all over Europe but back then it was still Czechoslovakia and behind the iron curtain so no way for me to visit it. Audrey, your heart belongs to Kingdom come, I don't know any woman who played the game and finished it all. You put a lot of time into it and didn't give up. Hi Audrey, been watching your KCD 1 playthrough since the past few days since I bought the game myself last week and wanted to look at first time reactions. Absolutely loving the game so far, and your blind playthrough of it. I have yet beaten the first one but really excited for this one! Hope it's more detailed/refined in terms of gameplay (more interactive objects and such).
Also God I hope they have more than 1 romance blessings character I hate that we got stuck with what's her face and couldn't tap more booty as we pleased
Love it when you say "By bye world". I finish the first game 3 times. More than 500 hours. So imagine in this one. Play first day. Logical on 11 February 2025.
16:47 unfortunately no, they never had any monk orders with purple-red robes, so this must be some kind of fancy civilian robes, also Henry is wearing leather belt, monks only wear ropes. Girl looks like a noblewoman, so maybe there will be love triangle, different romance paths like in Witcher? That would be cool, but yes - Theresa is a must! Looks like you can use good old bow, crossbow and that cool handgun by choice.
07:23 they said the map is 2x as big as KCD 1, I heard in Interviews that Rattay is like 1 street of Kuttenberg which is bigger than the whole KCD 1 map. And the Bohemian Paradise map (with Trosky Castle and a lot of nature) is a bit smaller than the KCD 1 map. There is one loading screen between them, so hopefully no performance issues. And still every human NPC has a house to sleep in and a daily schedule like in KCD1 :) And for the 11 people developing the game in the beginning: It was a kickstarter in 2014 because they didn't have enough money (the old trailer is pretty funny btw). That's also why the first game wasn't "finished" and needed a second part. They also had to scrap many features like smithing (similar system to alchemy) which they wanted to include but had problems with and no time anymore. That's why he said they're doing it now how they always wanted to.
@@radeksilar543 even still. Considering you can enter the large majority of buildings in the first game, i do hope they keep that up despite the larger map. Nothing worse than a map or city that seems enormous but is mostly inaccessible

It starts exactly after KCD 1 because they bring the letter to someone. However developers said that the actor of Henry aged around 7 years and that's why he looks different :D
I have full faith in them but i am nervous about the Combat. I enjoyed the concept in the first game but it got old quite quick. In interviews I heard that they want the sword to be with combos and all that stuff again (more refined ofc but like first game), and if you don't like this combat (many didn't) you can use a club and just bonk your way through the game with an easy weapon :D Also the early fireweapon will not be overpowered because it has like a very long process of loading it while not being able to move :D
@@dagerry i liked the combat mechanics, i could feel what they were going for with it i think they were probably just limited by a lack of resources or experience. I have no doubt they will give us something good. Since my first time playing the first game i wondered what it would be like if the combat was more like for honour in first person.
I see that argument about the riposte a lot and it seems almost everyone forgets one technique immediately after it being taught: the feint. It doesn't completely stop your opponent master striking, but they sure have a harder time pulling them off; I just barely lost out to Black Peter in a tourney where I hadn't learned master strikes yet and only did the first training with Bernard (so I wasn't level 15 or something). I can see it turning in to a master strike simulator against multiple opponents, because the system lacks fluidity (e.g. getting locked into animations), the targeting felt clunky, pathfinding issues and don't get me started on those polearm guys sprinting into you (I guess they want a hug or something?) Master strikes should also be harder to pull off, I remember in my first playthrough I misunderstood the mechanic and used the right stick to move my sword into the path of the enemy's attack and block.
@@deltav864 After 200 hours of playing KCD I'm still not sure how I fight or what master strikes are, but I developed my own technique very early (maybe it is the feint technique no idea xD) I first go in one direction with the sword and then I hit him on the head quickly. Done xD One fluid mouse mouvement - hold attack button, aim right, aim up quickly, release button. Works almost every time. Haven't won a tournament though (never tried so far).
@@dagerry Yeah that's the feint: hold the attack button, change attack direction and release the attack. I can also highly recommend the NoMoSloMo mod, it makes the fights a bit snappier, it gets rid of that constant ramped slomo bwuuzshh sound and makes it a bit tougher because it's harder to identify an opponent's perfect block, so you don't always know when to abort a combo.
