In this exhilarating episode of Front Row Rugby 1995 Rugby World Cup champion Marius Hurter takes us back in time to discuss his impactful Springbok career.
Marius made his Bok debut at the 1995 Rugby World Cup against Romania. Hurter would also feature against Canada in the infamous Battle of Boet Erasmus but otherwise played more of a bit-part role in the Springboks’ campaign.
Nevertheless he was a key part of Kitch Christie, Andre Markgraaff and Carel Du Plessis’ Springbok squads during his three seasons in the famous green and gold.
Marius does not hold back as he talks about everything that happened in a memorable era for Springbok rugby.

    16:40 Trivia question
Peter says: I love the Springboks and rugby is one of my favourite sports. Although as a sports journalist I am supposed to remain neutral, I always like to point out that before I became a professional, I was just a big fan! I hold a Masters Degree in International Journalism so at least you know I should be able to ask a good question or two! My dream is to do this TH-cam Channel permanently. He does look like he has slimmed down since his playing days.

Haha, it's interesting isn't it? He was certainly an important figure in Bok rugby, that's for sure.
