1. Insert the first previously programmed key into your ignition and turn the ignition from the OFF position to the ON position (maintain ignition in the ON position for at least one second, but no more than 10 seconds).
2. Turn ignition from the ON position back to the OFF position in order to remove the first programmed key from the ignition.
3. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of removing the first previously programmed key, insert the second previously programmed key into the ignition and turn the ignition from the OFF position to the ON position (maintain ignition in the ON position for at least one second but no more than 10 seconds).
4. Turn the ignition from the ON position back to the OFF position in order to remove the second programmed key from the ignition.
5. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of removing the second programmed key, insert the new unprogrammed key (new key/valet key) into the ignition and turn the ignition from the OFF position to the ON position (maintain ignition in the ON position for at least one second, but no more than 10 seconds). This step will program your new key to a programmed key.
6. To program additional new unprogrammed key(s), repeat Steps 1 through 5.

I want to program two or maybe 3 new keys that i will buy from Amazon. Do I follow your same exact procedure with the 1st new key and follow it up with my new 2nd key and so on? My truck is a 2017 f350 powerstroke.
Yes. if you look at the steps in the description box of the video - when you get to step 6, you repeat steps 1-5 for each additional key. Your truck can have a maximum of 8 keys programmed.
i recently purchased a 18 F-350 and it only came with one flip open key. Do i really need two keys to program another key? Being that I don't have another key do I need to go to dealer to cut and program? Thank you for taking the time to share this video.
A 2018 F-350 is actually a slightly different procedure, I will include the link to that video below. However, you will still need two working keys to be able to add a 3rd yourself. No - Unfortunately, if you have less than two working keys then you will need an automotive locksmith or dealership
I just purchased an 2017 f350 with two flip key remotes they both turn on the vehicle but they will not lock or unlock the vehicle..... any suggestions
