Hi, thank you for your feedback. This file used to work with the 2s series of machines, but some older versions of the same machine won't work. I know that some people find themselves with a machine that actually runs on an older mainboard and won't work. If you already installed the Driver CH340, go to the tasks manager and make sure that while attempting to connect to Lightburn, the NEJE software is actually not running as this may keep the port busy. If all this does not work then there is not much that can be done Ciao

Hi, 831 fpv; if you use air assist, the lens may get fogged by the condense after a single use; therefore, I would recommend checking that out if all is fine from the software side. Regarding the Homing issue, try to check in the Device settings if the machine dimension is set correctly at 255mm and 420mm. In case the size is correct, reduce the y-axis to 410 or 400mm. Some machines have some greater deviation, meaning that are effectively smaller than the advertised working area. Let me know, Ciao

Thanks for your video. I have a Neje Lasermaster 2s and connected to my MacBook Pro. Everything works fine, GRBL and drivers installed and connected. I can move and control everything, only problem is that I don't have a laserburn. Checked all the setting and it should be fine. The laser follows the path of the shape to be cut but only with a small bleu light All power controls checked. Laser is normal functional when I use the Neje app, but I need to cut Gcode files. Any idea???

The machine has 2 microcontrollers; one works with Neje's proprietary software, which seems to be working at this point, and the other is the GRBL microcontroller which is supposed to work with LaserGRBL, LightBurn and other GRBL-based software. Have you used my config files for the setup in LightBurn? if not, either try using my file or check if in the GRBL configuration under Edit > Machine Settings > Homing and Limits, the parameter $30 and $31 are set to 1000 and 1, respectively. If that does not work, try updating the firmware using the neje_grbl_uploader app available at neje.wiki/doku.php?id=nejelaser_master_2s (check at the bottom of the page) Once you do this, you may need to repeat the config process in LightBurn. Let me know. Ciao
Hello Darko Tomac, thank you for your comment, The Homing Speed is called Homing seek rate, in LightBurn this can be found under Edit > Machine Settings > Homing and Limits > Homing seek rate (fast) (mm/min) ($25) here you can raise or lower the speed as you wish. I hope it helps. Ciao

For a 2s max, you should find someone with the same machine to get the files, but since it is the bigger brother of the 2S Plus, you can follow the same instruction from the video, then go to "Device Settings" and change the "Work Size" to the dimension of your machine. In some instances, that turn out because of an old hardware version. Anyway, we can try to troubleshoot the problem. Does the machine work with the NEJE application? Have you tried to use the machine with LaserGRBL? This will help identify if the problem is on the board, as these machines have two processing units; one dedicated to GRBL and the other to NEJE native apps. Let me know Ciao
Hi there and thank you for getting back to me. I have now managed to get lightburn to work with my Neje master 2. The auto detect does not work but the laser makes a noise and slight movement during the auto detect attempt so its obvious that lightburn can detect the laser in some respect. I first updated the firmware to the latest version from the neje site. I then imported this profile which is for a Master 2 plus 30w. forum.lightburnsoftware.com/t/neje-master-2s-max-speed-settings/42757 This profile works just fine although you do have to change the "Y direction Invert" from true to false in Machine settings otherwise you get a mirror image when engraving. You also have to change the engraving area size in the laser profile which in the case of the Master 2 is 170mm x 170mm Auto home does not work on startup so just remember to push the laser all the way to the back/left on startup and then Lightburn knows exactly where you head is. The laser head movement tool then works perfectly and even returns to origin once the engraving has finished! Thank you for your help and i hope this helps anyone with a Neje master 2. I now have to set up my brand new Atomstack A20 pro! :-)

Yes you will. I can only get my iPhone iOS 15.4 to control my NEJE via the NEJE Wireless app.
