I got this to work on an Xtool S1. However, I am limited to the distance I can set the camera permanently as I have to maintain clearance so I can open the lid. I guess removing the lid and getting some laser glasses might be an option. I don't want to fix anything permanently to the laser enclosure. Any Ideas?

I also use Neje E40 but why don't I get the same results, how do you set up the device? or settings in the software

great video. I've had the problem for a while and would just squeeze the sides of the mouse really hard and it would fix it (the pressure allows for the release of the stuck thumb button) unfortunately it has been getting worse. currently I just make sure all my devices have the button disabled within the logitech app. will do this later when I replace the usb port with usbc.

Hi, loving the video, thank you, Have finally decided on which diode cnc I would like to get, thanks to your video, and its the NEJE Max 4, having looked at a number of review videos now, this one seems to tick all the right boxes, have a question I need to extend the size, I know NEJE do an extender pack to take it up to a 1150mm, but I need to go up to 1500mm to cover the size of the material i am going to cut, got in touch with NEJE to ask if they could supply a set of rails 1500mm, they just kept coming back with we do an extender pack 1150mm, they did tell me the rail dimensions, 20x30, but I dont seem to be able to find that size, can you help or suggest where I might be able to get that size rail in that length, any help would be much appreciated, keep up up the great work, Stu in the UK

I spent nearly 1h dealing with Logitech customer service, just to be told I was out of warranty and needed to buy a new mouse. I only managed to get a discount from them to buy on their website. Hi, this is a great video and if my Max 4 worked like this it would be awesome! However, my Max 4 appears to behave differently and I wondered if you might be able to help? I have followed the setup exactly as described. I determined the focal length on my E80 to be 24mm, and my distance from honeycomb to laser is 66mm... so the difference is 42mm. When I enter an offset of "42 - thickness of workpiece" into the offset for the layer(s) it works perfectly. However, when I code the GCode entry (G10 L2 P1 Z-42) the coding is accepted, and $# shows [G54:0.000,0.000,-43.000,0.000], but when running the job, the Z axis does not move down at all. I've rehomed, powered off/on and checked the firmware and version of Lightburn (v1.6.00). I'm not running in absolute mode and I have double checked that Z-axis is still enabled - I can still jog it up and down... Do you have any clues as to what else I could look for?

Wow, this has worked perfectly on my MX Master. This is crazy.. basically a jammed button stops everything. I had to use an old wired mouse until I buy a new one but i looked up the issue and I wasn’t alone. Thank you for the advice!

Hi, I have an atomstack s20 max. The power of the laser is 18-20w. They cannot cut plexiglass (acryl) 3 mm at all. Is the problem that the laser power is low, or did I not set good parameters for cutting? I use the lightburn program

Didnt work for me. Even after removing the thumb button pcb and moving the bluetooth dongle closer, it still lags/loses connection with irregular intervals.

You are the only one who took the confusion out of this process. I believe I have it right now. Here are my list of steps I got from your video. Step 1: Home machine Step 2: In Lightburn (LB) in Device screen click on “Enable Z” and “Optimize Z moves” Step 3: Move laser to center with jog control (click on Move Tab in top right box for jog control) Step 4: Raise laser in bracket to it’s highest position (bottom of bracket even with bottom of laser) Step 5: Lower using jog control till it rattles (lowest position) Step 6: Loosen laser holding screws and lower laser to 25mm above the honeycomb Step 7: Go to Home position (laser should go up and over) Step 8: Measure distance from honeycomb to bottom of laser and record the distance = 73mm Step 9: Subtract distance in step 6 from the measurement in step 8 which is 73 - 25 = 48mm Step 10: Measure thickness of material in mm and enter into the Material field in the Cut/Layer box Step 11: To engrave click on black layer in the Layer/Cut box on the right and enter 48 in Z offset. To cut click on red layer add depth of cut to the 48 and enter into Z offset field It's a starting point and some fine adjustment may be needed to get the sharpest resutls.
