- Driving the MAN NL202 bus on the Ebstein Map, a map which I've never driven on before. In Part 1 I take Route 104 from Weinheim local train station to Ebstein ZOB (bus station). In Part 2 I make the return journey. The map is in my mod spreadsheet listed below.

You can go upstairs in the double-deckers, if you are in the passenger-view, just press the left or right arrow key, and you'll change passenger view. There is/are also one (or 2 can't remember) view(s) upstairs in there. Also in single-deckers you have multiple passenger views. (And in the cabin too, but if you've got track-ir, you won't have to use them).
OMSI sounds are so good!!! I ride an MAN bus (bought second hand from germany, its exactly the same model as the one in OMSI) to school every day and it sounds just like this one!

Where I live, the city bus drivers pick you up, and as soon as you are on the bus, they step on it! Because there are hand rails and everything all over the place that you grab onto. Especially when there are a lot of people getting on the bus, the last person finishes paying for their ride about a km ahead! haha

Like you're OMSI2 vids, great game! About Bismarckstrasse, I go left when leaving Ebstein ZOB and there is also a stop called Bismarckstrasse. It's not highlighted with a green/yellow H but people get in when you stop and it shows arrival/departed times on the timetable overview.
Not left of course, I mean I go right at Ebstein ZOB
Squirrel has an obsession about being late to the point that he drives erratically which kind of spoils the driving aspect of it really. It's only a game after all and most buses in real life are late anyway. I purchased Omsi2 to enjoy driving through the cities, country roads and villages. If I'm late then so be it. I don't start putting my foot down to the point of being dangerous and where the game starts to feel like a chore because I have to reach my destination on time. I do wish he could simply freaking chill out it a bit more.

That driving seemed pretty realistic: driving above speed limit, taking corners as fast as possible, leaving just a bit too early, ...
The ibis changes the sign thing in front of your bus... And you can open the windows in the double decker from inside by changing the view with arrow keys right and left. And sorry about my bad english i think :) I hope you understand. Great video!

It says in the instructions to the map, away from ZOB is always Route 01 and towards ZOB is Route 02 ;)

The announcer is also for a display outside the bus. If you just punch the line and the route it display zeal and the announcer will be set.

Do you know what the advertisement for the Mini on the backside of the bus says? "Günstiger kriegen Sie so viele Pferde nur in einer Lasagne" = "For less money you get so many horses only in a Lasagne".

The "posh car" was a german Opel Manta from the 80th.....like most of the cars in the game

I am struggling to set up my g27 to this game and was wondering if there is any way you can do a short tutorial on how to set up the steering wheel and button assignments as the guide on stem didn't work for me it leaves me with no throttle.

Hey mate i was wondering if you had problems with your tiles loading if so i need help i would load the map say i wanna do the 106 and by the time i get to the next station it would look like the map is there and when u get there you would see just blue?
Paul, how did you manage to install all the required add ons for this map? I have downloaded it, but there are two .ams mods I need to install as well. So I have the OMSI addon manager, but it just crashes every time I try to install these mods with it.
Any help and advice will be much appreciated, I really like OMSI and would like to play Ebstein routes. Thank you!

NIce videos and I like your pronunciation. For you as a non German speaker it's pretty good (of course having the annunciator helps) ;) By the way there seems to be more “issues” with this map, like the town-exit signs at 14:33 are black (seem to miss a texture). And if this wasn't answered in your part 1 video, "Maschinenfabrik" is not a cloth factory but a machine factory ;) Not sure if fabric and the German word Fabrik have a common root.

+Fabian Neundorf well, spanish for factory is "fábrica", but we also have another word with a similar meaning, "factoría". I'm guessing factory and factoría have the same root and fábrica comes from the same place as the German Fabrik. Well, who knows...

can you do route 201 to softlingen and the return journey I know if there's no arrows pointing I'd not know which way to go either
Actually I think Bismarckstrasse was the one you missed by not going in the bus lane (the one where you asked "should I go this way"). It's nearly exactly where you come out of Bismarckstrasse on your return journey. So the detour you made was not necessary at all.
Bus stops often carry the name of crossing streets because when you go along one street, there's no point in calling the stops "Main Street #1", "Main Street #2" and so on.

I wish I could play this game. All I have is a wired xbox 360 controller, and when I barely turn the bus moves left and right so fast.
its the same in real life. to save time i shut the door as the last passenger steps on the bus and first group buses prefer you to be late rather than early
You don't need to open double decker windows from outside from the inside (f2) and press the arrow keys left or right and you will go upstairs

you don't have to go outside to open the windows. you can press f2 and then press the left arrow to take you outside.

When you closed the windows you forgot to close the roof hatch you only clicked the roof hatch 1s you need to click It 2 times to shut it see you soon happy bussing. :)

Seems to me that maybe they didn't put the arrows for Bismarckstrasse because the road was broken?

Lol u went the wrong way to bismarkstrasse. The right way is when u leave the ZOB, turn right and follow the arrows and it will show u the rest of the way.

I put a deposit down for a G27 (apparently it wasn't in stock) now the new G290 has come out they seem to not be getting any G27's 😭 (it's been 2 months since i put the deposit down)
