The bendy buses are lovely to drive in real life :) Obviously they are much louder due to the fact that the engine basically is right behind you inside, although some have the engine back, but that's not fun to drive on snow days. I prefer OMSI over bus simulator because it's much closer to the real thing. Bus simulator is much more arcade, more of a ETS and ATS approach.

The "U" from the front destination plate is from U-Bahnhof which means Metro Station

The q thing happens because q is actually a code for that registration plate authenticity sign. If you put at Registration QQQQQQQ you will get those all over your plate. This also happens when you type "-" when using a Berlin bus. It will write a blue circle over a white one.
me: sees this video..gets all excited...reinstalls OMSI 2....boots up a scenario..spends 1 hour trying to get the bus to move...gives up...goes to play ETS2

omsi 2 looks and sounds far more real than bus simulator 16. Loving the real sounds of the bus in omsi. It may be 2 different animals like comparing Fiffa and pes football games but I love the real driving sounds and looks of omsi. More omsi videos please
At 2:22 thats not the AI's fault, thats actually very well and realistically scripted. That's how stupid some drivers in Vienna are and since I live there, I should know...and btw, the U at the destination Board means, that this station is also a station for the Subway or U-Bahn (Underground-Train) in german.
I love this game, I hope it helps towards the bus driving apprenticeship I'm going for XD

This game is just to expensive (with DLC) and outdated, I cannot bring myself to buy it - even though I love the videos.

Would you say it is worth getting if I do not intend to buy the DLC?
It's around 10 quid on G2A, but many mods (including my favourite bus, the Merc O407) require further DLC.
And how bad is the performance for you? i7-4700MQ and GT740M on my end.

Well my pc's processor is shit it's a pentium lol (feel free to laugh) and i get like 60fps on grundorf and the big map i get like 20

The LU 200 & GU 240 sound so good, but equally does the NL 205 & NG 235. Graf Steyr buses are the best, we needed more to be imported out of Austria.

You see, Squirrel, the A cuts the Q in your name because the numberplates in Austria go like the German ones, a letter and 4 numbers, e.g. W:9999, that's why it cuts right on your Q... I think¿?
There is a free bus ride in Manchester which takes you to the different museums, it was packed I had to literally sit on the front dash part of the bus xD

Have you tried Bus & Cable Car Simulator: San Francisco? I think it fits nicely between OMSI and Bus Simulator

I only have 24A for Vienna at the moment as I just brought it yesterday as well as downloaded this bus. Problem is, it wont let me do anything. I tried everything from starting the electrics to even switching to an AI bus and trying to control that but it wont let me as its like everything seems non-operational. Any help please? Anyone can feel free to answer

+Alfredo Pesina see the title, it's OMSI 2. Graphics are decent, menus are archaic, performance is so so, stability leaves something to be desired (especially at the price).
This DLC furthermore is pretty expensive...

you know you had that really short bus stop. where i live there is litterally a 85m gap between my bus stop and the next one. the distance is so short i dont even know why they built it.
My street in Newcastle is about a half mile long and has 4 stops, with the 2 in the middle less than 100 yards apart.

I just bought the bus simulator 16 and i get confused with the stupid satnav thing any tips? thanks
+Call me Tea Might not be really helpful but as soon as you approach a junction remember that the satnav map itself always faces north so you have to look at the arrow in a different way. For example if it points downwards you are driving down the south so if the route goes suddenly to the left on a the satnav screen you have to turn right.

I worked it out earlier that basically I have to pretend i'm the arrow lol and think left and right as the arrow if you get what i mean lol
