  • This is a 2014 #Mitsubishi #ASX 4WD aka #outlander sport aka #RVR in some other countries. It comes with a 2.0 naturally aspirated 4B11 #MIVEC engine, paired with a cvt gearbox. There are 3 different drivetrain mode: 2WD, 4WD Auto and #4WD Lock.
    Video above were tested on a slightly uphill road, so the result you see aren't the accurate 0 to 100 time of this car. The purpose of this video is to show the acceleration differences between different drivetrain mode. Enjoy!

    The engine sounds good, has a bit of character. Smooth but kind of gutsy sounding. Very good car

    Amazing video I must say. I have a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4. Does 4WD Lock gives the best possible acceleration?

      @ljanhong  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      4WD Lock only give slightly better launch. For normal everyday driving you wouldn’t even notice any different. Just leave it in 4WD auto mode will do.

    RON95 or RON97 would it make a difference on 4b11 ?

      It will not make any different on any engine unless your engine specifically required high octane fuel like FD2R.

    What speed do you get in the 5th gear at 2000rpm? Thanks

      This car has a 6 gear box. In 5th até 2k It is around of 85km/h. In 6th It is 100km/h at 2k rpm.

    sorry, Mitsu,but slow, very slow. I would not want a car that can be beaten easily by every little 1.0 turbo engine. 150 hp should run much,much faster.

      Just leave it in 4WD Auto and let the car do its thing for you.

    Fake results. 2wd in D is the fastest mode.

      @@UnrealOG137 yes compared to a similar size and weight SUV with a turbo petrol engine. Mitsubishi are right in having an NA engine. If you cant understand the reasons why, there is no hope for you really. As for saying crossover, it is a meaningless word created by the car industry for marketing silly fashion cars with that "offroad" look that dont cross over into anything. Even more ridiculous is the fact that most "crossovers" are front wheel drive only haha so they aren't even capable of going off road. See my point yes ?

      Not for the weight it isnt. Its not a sports car. You obviously have no idea what this car is all about. I wont waste my time explaining.
