KX71 return filter change

Kubota KX71-3 excavator return filter change.
Started this video Labor Day weekend 2021 but ended up out with rib injuries for some time after the beginning of September. Just going ahead and assembling what was shot before.
It is a very simple process but the return filter is not cheap!

It’s not the back fill blade… It’s for those people who can’t use the excavator as it was intended.😅😅😅😅😅

Hey bud. Any idea why the Hydraulic oil would leak out the return stem down the left?

Finally home... Are you talking about the left side of the auxiliary circuit, out on the boom? Left side facing the reservoir tank etc.?

Thanks for the video. Curious s, where did you get the wrench to remove the hydraulic cover?

You should have one in the storage compartment under the seat. Unlock, fold down and it should be on the right side... But that may be because that's where I put it originally! If I remember correctly it was in a plastic bag with some other paperwork.
If I find one in a search in a little bit I'll come back and add a link... Several other types out there but the oem one has 100% contact vs some pipe wrench
