    It’s one thing to have someone do the “service.” It’s another to do it yourself. No questions; no worries; no concerns. Thanks

      That is one of the big reasons we service things ourselves. We know that it is done right, using quality parts and fluids. Plus we can do it on our time and we don't ever have to wait!

    I own a KX 033-4 and really appreciate your videos. It is the perfect size machine for my property and is deceptively powerful for its size. Regards from central Ontario Canada.

    Awesome vid. I have a KX040 and videos like this are priceless man. I'd be SOL otherwise, and at the mercy of the dealers. Their high cost, and generally poor service (at most dealers) is never something I look forward to. Thanks!!

      Thank you! These machines are pretty simple to work on, and Kubota reliability is very good! Keep up on the maintenance and they will last forever! Good luck!

      Not too bad of a service. We order all of our parts through Messicks. They are super fair on price and stuff ships out very quickly to us.

    I do not have a mini Kubota excavator, but wish I had a KO-33 and found your video quite interesting. I do have multiple Kubota ZD mowers and a couple of Kubota tractors, so I could relate to similar components performing my own service as well. I am retired and could use a KO33 on my pond, creek, and woods, but I do not have a business to justify enough use. I can rent Kubota mini's from our local dealer, but would be nice to own a 33 and use on my time line and spontaneous uses. I have investigated and priced them comparing reach and power comparison. Why did you select the KO33 compared to 30, 40, or 57 when you purchased? So thanks for taking the time to create this video. It was good instruction and enjoyable to watch if I break down and get one.

      I originally wanted an 057. I thought it would be the most versatile sized machine. When we went to the dealer and actually stood next to these machines, we thought that the 033 was a good size for the type of work that we do. The 057 looked like a MONSTER of a machine for the types of properties that we mainly work on.
      Aside from size, the 033 was WAY cheaper. We got a smoking deal on our machine at the time, plus it came with a 12”, 24” bucket and a thumb.
      Lastly, the 033 is naturally aspirated, with ZERO emissions equipment, making it extremely reliable and fuel efficient. We have had zero mechanical issues with this machine in 1200hrs.
      The 033 had been a fantastic machine for us. In the future we do plan to add a KX-080 for the large projects.

    Awesome video awesome job! Everything I was looking to get accomplished with my 1750 hour maintenance for my U35-4 was addressed.
    BTW I have the service manual and was wondering how you reset the error code after periodic maintenance for filters are complete.
    My unit is showing “periodic maintenance” replace return filter?
    Thanks

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The codes go away after you pass that specified “hour block” that it is referring to. I do not believe there is any way to manually reset it. A bit of a design flaw in my opinion.

    Curious on the 50hr service, it states 'drain water from fuel tank'. Not the separator in engine bay. Have you done this and any pointers?

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I dd not do that. I would assume that there would be no water in the tank if none is found in the separator.

    I enjoyed watching someone do a service and taking the time needed to do it right. I did notice your machine under the hood is very clean. What do you use to keep the motor so clean ?

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for checking it out!
      I just use the pressure washer to give the motor a rinse down. Maybe every 1-2 months. This machine does not leak a drop, so it is very easy to keep it clean.

  • @Z-Bart

    • @Z-Bart
      @Z-Bart 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just an observation. Prior to putting on the return filter housing...might be a good time to add the fresh hydraulic fluid. That 5-6" hole looks easier to hit than the little fill cap hole.

    @NK: did you do the engine valve lash inspection/adjustment? did you conclude not necessary?

    • @NKLandscapingLLC
      @NKLandscapingLLC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did not. To be honest, I did not even think about doing one. I just checked the manual and the valve clearance is to be checked every 800hrs. I will have to check that out at my next service!
