The mother is actually amazing. She´s very respectful, yet assertive, as she needs to be when defending her child. No makeup policy is extremely hypocritical. We didn´t chose the way we look, we shouldn´t be banned from correcting it to our liking.
kids shouldn't need to wear makeup. they should be worrying about their grades, not their appearance to impress boys or girls. this is coming from a 21 year old by the way. i wore makeup once i got into sixth form/college which is fair enough but i remember the majority of year 10s and 11s were caked in fake tan, had massive eyebrows and lash extensions. THAT is when it becomes stupid and unnecessary. chances are you wont even talk to half of your high school friends once you leave school. school isn't a beauty pageant, you're there to learn. and it also doesn't teach children good morals. you don't need makeup to be beautiful and you shouldn't teach your kids that. if you are getting bullied at school it should be sorted out by other means, not using makeup to hide your insecurities. because then you will become reliant on makeup.
@@margaretacandrawaty5787 yes i agree. When they are 12 I don’t think they should be wearing makeup. When they turn 13, I think if they are insecure then they should be allowed to wear some concealer maybe? When they turn 14-15 I think that they should be allowed to wear more to school, if they are insecure then I don’t see any harm in it, I think as long as they are told that they are beautiful with or without makeup, then it’s ok.
I started wearing makeup in high school. But that was a long time ago. I feel like times have changed and folks start wearing makeup earlier now. My friend's daughter wears press-on nails and she's 10. Idk, I like the idea of not wearing makeup until high school and just focusing on having fun and being young.
I wouldn’t put my child in a new school just because the makeup rule is relaxed approach did she not address the bullying ? I was teased at school everyday for having acne and I was pretty much the only one with it but now I look back and think if you don’t like it don’t look at it I was teased for being human basically and that’s what her daughter is
I think make up in schools should be allowed to wear makeup in moderation to make them feel and look good for their self confidence. But if it involves them spending hours doing makeup and it interfers with their knowledge and learning then that's wrong. Because for school learning is more important than makeup right?
What a failure as a mother teaching her daughter to feel better by colouring in her face, you meant to teach her to be confident in her own skin. Your setting her up for failure !
I agree with christine children wearing make-up is ridiculous Jesus there far too young to wear make up wait til kids get to 16 or over kids shouldnt have choice she ridiculous in red hair 🙄🤦♀️

100%
i can't think of one good reason why makeup should be banned
For 6 and 7 year Olds?
I can. True self esteem isn't fully developed. Also it's not good for thier young skin.
I can understand wearing a bit of foundation to cover up acne but when someone wears false lashes and heavy lipstick that’s different.

well said!!!
I understand that wearing a full face of cakey makeup is a no no but very natural makeup no foundation just to cover acne is fine in my opinion
@@ameliaconfreymakeup makes it worse
No because you don’t get friends unless you’re pretty
@ then they should teach children about respect and that most beauty standards are wrong. there is a severe lack of that in schools
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wearing makeup in school. Teachers can.
I think it also depends on how old the students are. Let kids be kids.

That red head lady is absolutely agree with the makeup at school they are literally there to learn

I wouldn't recommend makeup for teens. REALLY bad for skin. But it's not distracting at all.
I mean ur right cuz I’m 16 and since I wore foundation I’ve gotten small acne in between my eye brows 🙃

Be confident in her acne? That's a challenge for anyone not to mention someone in a sensitive age.
Why she had acne to begin with. Lashes for acne too?
Makeup and schools yeah girls shouldn't not were makeup to school because its obsessing about they looks
