I added my new domain and email to my workspace account and I can send emails from the new email address that I added. Although I cannot receive email replied in my google inbox - they go to my Wordpress inbox instead (I did the new domain through Wordpress so I am guessing that is why). Is there any way around this? I want to not only send emails from my new domain in gmail - I also want to receive mail sent to the new address/domain.

If Google is acting as Identity provider (e.g service provider is leveraging OpenId), then it really depends on how the developer implemented, if uniqueId (other than email) is leveraged (recommended), then user should be able to login fine as service app can relate the user via uniqueId than email. 2. If Google is acting as service provider (e.g authentication is handled by 3rd party IdP like Okta), then it would stop working as Google will need user's current primary google address in SAML nameId, so recommendation should be attempt such user renames via IdP than doing it directly in Google. Hi, Really this video is very helpful, just one question, if I change the domain for an existing user, will it affect user email data ? I mean, for example , user is having already 50gb email data and after changing domain to another, same data will be there ? Appreciate it !!!
Thanks for sharing this tutorial. What about the files in the Google Drive? will I lose the data? and will I retain both emails on the inboxes for users and files on the Drive if I decide to complete move to the new domain and delete the other doamin (let it expired). Thank you

You need to ensure your domain’s mx records are pointing to google email servers, you would find a video about it on my channel
