Tell the whole story from the Infancy Gospel of Thomas.
Young Jesus killed TWO children: one who bumped into him and the other who wrecked his clay pit from which had made the birds.
    Jesus also blinded the parents.
The question is why did Eusebius consider this writing as "fiction" and the Pope labeled it as heretical?
This shows how badly the early Church cherry-picked and sanitized the New Testament. This is very similar to what pastors, priests and ministers do every Sunday service to beguile their credulous faithful.
Even to this day the Bible ... the New Testament ... is filled with absurd preposterous pre-science narrative, characters, events and prescriptions.
    Just read it yourself.
If this and other non-canonical Biblical narratives are "fiction," then what is the rest of the New Testament?

Interestingly one of the later part of the gospel is found in our gospels, where Jesus as a teen/boy leaves his parents in Jeruslam and debates the Rabbis in the temple, where his father and mother were searching for him. And if "God" became a man and could do miracles at the age of 30, why not at the age of 10, 12, 15 etc? This would only make sense to me, since you dont learn to do miracles and you dont forget that you are "God" or a prophet coming to earth because you was sent by your God.
And if the story of Gabriel and Mary, or Elisabeth and Gabriel is true, or the story with the Magis etc. It makes no sense to me, that his brothers or even family didnt believe in him. They even called him "out of his mind". They must have witnessed these stories or at least heard them. Even John and Jesus alledgly didnt know each other in one gospel, while they were Cousins and while their families were close to each other😂
And it especially makes no sense to me, that James who allegedly didnt believe in Jesus in Jesus lifetime became the leader of the apostles immediately after Jesus.

@@protochris their mothers knew each other, both gave birth to sons by a miracle, their families knew each other, so they at least both must have known who the other is. 😂 And since James is older than Jesus, and since Jesus had other brothers, they all must have known each other and must have witnessed all those "miracles". But no, Jesus brother James witnessed all those miracles and didn't believe in Jesus, but became the leader of the apostles after Jesus😂

@@protochris my point is that If Jesus could do miracles at the age of 30, he should have been able to do the same at the age 12 or 10, since you dont learn them, either you can do them or not. and scholars also date books of our NT to the 2nd century, and we still have a part of that infancy narrative in our gospels. My point is not that the infancy gospel is reliable, its as reliable as our gospels, but as I said, Jesus logically should have been able to do miracles at the age of 12 too.
And who is "the church"? There were many churches and even many different canons in the Paulian church. Some used the book of Enoch which is quoted in the Nt, some rejected the book of Revelations or the letter to the Hebrews and all letters attributed to the (real) apostles. Some even used a now lost gospel of Peter and a gospel (or book/letter) of James, which is now lost too. Some used the letter attributed to Barnabas. I could go on and on.
Jewish Christians even had a different gospel in Hebrew or Aramaic and rejected Paul's writings. There was no single church and not a single canon. Papias mentioned a Hebrew gospel attributed to Matthew.

@@protochris you do know that all the Gospels were written decades after Jesus lived?
That some books that the Church rejected were written before the Gospel of John and were used as authoritative writings by the early Church, such as Acts of Paul and Thecla?
That practically all the martyrdom accounts for the Apostles come from the apocryphal books that the Church rejected?
It seems that the Church cherry picked the books it liked and cherry picked stories it liked.
Furthermore, it is well known amongst Biblical scholars that some of the Pauline letters and other letters are forgeries, yet the churches today still accept them as authoritative.

Why does there have to be a creator?
If you study biology, you will see that everything evolved from simpler forms. That's not how an intelligent creator would build things. If I'm building a jet aircraft I don't include parts that have no current function. Nor would I layout the internals of a jet aircraft, like a biplane. I wouldn't include flaws that old propeller airplanes had.

@@joefilter2923 Yeah I know the infancy gospel of Thomas has a story like this; it could be that it was a real story about Jesus sure. He did many many miracles. From among the miracles Jesus did it is very similar to even creating life through the power of God. One problem i see with it is Jesus being not really well known by the time of his ministry. (So as I say maybe it was a real story he did during his ministry) and the gospel of Thomas writer had known of this story.
