I added the super 40s and it woke my car up. Now it sounds like a beast. Never heard the 50s.
I put the super delta 50's on my car and I was honestly hoping they'd be a little louder. The best example I can describe is the car is quiet during normal driving but when I start to give it some gas the sound picks up quite a bit. During a cold start the mufflers make that rumbly awesome sound, but when the car warms up the mufflers get quiet so I'm not sure what the deal is with that. They do sound good but they could definately be louder. For my next car I'm going for the 40's
I picked up a 95 Yukon 4x4 back in March in good shape was planning it to be a project but this thing won't die lol. I have 226k on it all I did was rebuild the TBI throttle body Spectre air filter oil and fluids and me and the family love this truck! I'm looking for a Suburban and Sierra of the same year TBI's are so simple to work on.

I'm the original owner of a 1995 K1500 Suburban and only have 150k miles on mine. I thought this was low mileage, but you're the king at 55k.
They did an awesome job! Clean weld and level pipe. Wish I could take my cars to them. Unfortunately they’re quite a way from me.
Dude this is crazy, to think that truck was 21-22 years old when this video was made, and it looks that immaculate. Stunning all around, hardly a speck of rust. I have a 94, and its currently 29. My underbody is so rusted out that my muffler fell off mid drive three days ago. Mechanics try to charge me extra because its so rusty they dont want to break the bolts. Tge body isnt terrible but its definitely nowhere bear this perfect. I wish i hadthe money to restore my girl to this quality
I have the twin to yours. 1995 Chevy Suburban 57,000. Sat in the guy's garage except vacation twice a year. Almost same break and I'm looking for a replacement. This video helped a lot, thanks. Northern Michigan (Have taken 2, 2nd. places in 7 shows so far. The original owner had it Z-Barted (SP) even left the factory carpet plastic cover on. NO WINTER driving!

Hello 1 Road. I'm thinking of doing a similar upgrade as well. I think I'll try and shoot for a 70 series as the wife isn't to keen on the truck being load. Great video once again. Thank you for sharing! Keep up the keep up.
Thanks for posting the video, I opted for the wait time and the 70 series. Which ended up being about the same decibels as my old muffler but with a slight old school flow master tone. ✌✌

I'm guessing being it's a 1995 that is still the throttle body injection 5.7. You're lucky it is a very clean vehicle as I live in Minnesota you have to work twice as hard to keep my 1999 Suburban clean. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work

I'm getting mine done dual..it's a nice sound not all noise an no go it's a smooth growl that sounds the way it's supposed too.

That's why I straight piped my monte. Starting it up in winter here in new England at 6 am was probably extremely annoying lol

my tailpipe on my '88 Burb, is doing the same thing and there is a hole forming in the bottom of my muffler, so Im looking for options. Glad I found this vid.

You should add shorty Ceramic Coated headers, They flow better than stock, easy to install, and lower Underwood temperatures. I’ve noticed my voltage meter stays above 14V since the swap, I guess Bc the battery isn’t absorbing so much heat. Old manifolds were in the high 700 degree range, new ceramic coated headers were around 240 degrees. Just a thought, didn’t change sound but gained a little on low end torque and fuel mileage
Doesnt sound too bad, minimal interier noise with nice exhaust rumble... i plan on using this same muffler on my totaly stock 2005 gmc sierra 1500 4.3L V6 singlecab/shortbed truck.

I been taking my trucks and cars to the same guy for years he removes the catalytic converters and puts straight pipe with cherry bombs now that's a sound of a beast and my buddy dose all the work for about 100buks

What kind of lift kit do you have on the suburban or is it stock?
I have that same muffler flowmaster. But with the difference that was installed the other way around because it have like a other round to install another inlet and it said inlet. I want to install with two out scapes.

running the same Flowmaster on my '03 Suburban...love the note and because I live in a cul de sac, it's not too loud for early morning start-ups to bug neighbors...where and how did you ever find a '95 suburban with 50K on it?...looks like it couldn't be cleaner!...

They used to be good back when they used to be on industrial road . I went to the new location and the welder piped near my axle boot and another employee just put a ziptie around it. Like, bro . They need to replace it.

How does it sound when you start it up
We're trying to hear your new exhaust and your playing music during whole video. Not a good decision. But the work looked good.
Did you notice any improvement in fuel mileage after the muffler install?
Blarny4u the muffler will change absolutely nothing, the cats are still on so back-pressure remains the same resulting in no change in gas mileage
Did you leave your cats and resonators?
& Nice video ... The only thing I recommend is not to put music on a video regarding exhaust sound...that way we can hear the exhaust....

What's with the music? Why install a performance exhaust if you don't like the volume?
You could take the seats out and pull the carpet and add sound damper right above the muffler and nearby.
I heard you can gain 15hp if you change out the stock y pipe to something less restrictive. As a plus with less exhaust back pressure less exhaust goes into your egr/intake when it opens and you gain MPG. Anyone else seen this?
Jonathan Roeder correct the y pipe is the most restrictive part of the factory exhaust.

I have a flowmaster 70, its not bad. But its kinda like muffled rumbles if that makes sense. its good, but "ok"
Why the background music, had hope to hear the muffler upon acceleration.
I have a 1999 GMC Suburban. It needed cars and exhaust. Because the truck came through with a two in one out system I got a nice set of hooker long tubes, a set of high flow cats, and a two in two out super 50 flowmaster muffler. Best upgrade ever and I gained 1.5 mpg’s. Also the torq went up in the low end. Good luck

You should have got a single inlet dual outlet.
