I purchased the gripper clips for use with my Instant Pot...they are now in the trash. After 2 uses they fell apart and the rubber end on one of them has never been seen since the second use. I don't think anyone ate it but the chili was really good so who knows.

    One note on the grippers:
Don't underestimate your feeling of confidence with an item. If someone doesn't feel confident in the item, they're less likely to use it, no matter how actually useful or safe the item is. If an item doesn't instill you with confidence when you use it, then that's an improvement they can make. With the gripper itself, I would suggest widening the jaws by about 1/2 in. on each side. I feel that would significantly improve the feeling of stability you get when using the item, without making it ridiculously large

Here is an idea for a video, as you mentioned, the other bag dispenser you tried was so bad it didnt end up even in a video. If you happen to film any products like that, that don't end up becoming a video, maybe save them and then at one point just make a compilation, like "5 kitchen gadget fails" or something. But great video, I know I have a kitchen drawer stuffed to the brim with bags. and something like that would work perfectly. Quick and easy to "store" empty bags, and just as easy to get again. Thanks again, I always enjoy watching your Freakin Reviews. :)

I bought the gripper clips over a year and a half ago, and I love them! The silicone heads pop out for cleaning and the spring between the handles comes off easy to really clean inside the handles if they get dirty. I use them for microwave and my air fryer food. There is a different set on Amazon that are all metal and they are meant for deep pots like the Instant pot liner, steamers, and the larger pots on stoves. I have both sets, they both work perfect. The green ones sit right next to the microwave and air fryer. I use them the most, at least every other day.

@5:13 You'd have to plan forward in this case.... how are you going to put the plate down? You can on the edge of your counter... but what about putting it near the wall... the handles point downwards....you will have to half-way switch over to the other position...... But i like them! i think i'm gonna order a pair!

What I use as grocery bag dispenser is actually just an empty roll of paper towel. I also use 3M strips and stick it inside my cabinet door.
Note: you have to hold the bottom part when you refill it with plastic just so it won't push the plastic bags that's already inside out. It works perfectly for me and it's free.

Those pot holders are a must for camping for all the pots that don’t have a handle (backpacking sets) there are other similar for camping but they scratch the pots specially if they’re nonstick, also when you’re cooking on the fire pit no other holder is going to save your hands, if you’re solo camping and eating directly from the pot just lock them and there’s your semi-permanent handle just don’t cook with them on, less things to wash when there’s very limited water available. I’ve used them extensively and feel very comfortable and safe. I use them at home too, getting a hot pizza from the oven on the pizza tray and I can go on and on.

I'd definitely be a bit concerned about the bag dispenser being held in place by the adhesive backing. Less that the tape itself will fail, and more like it would just rip the paint right off the wall. 3M doesn't mess around when it comes to their products, from what I've seen. Their adhesive based products in particular tend to be consistently chart topping in product testing, I think. Has two attachment points I think it was? That would mitigate the risk a bit,

i can answer you simply and easily.
being a millions subs youtuber require 3 things.
1 - overreacting constantly on what your doing or what's going on.
2 - constantly pushing your subscribers on top of what is going on (AKA, calling and asking the subscribers constantly when you try something. Wich is extremly annoying but mandatory for big youtubers.)
3 - being not honest and push everything to the top to get money in return and reputation sharing from sponsors/creators of what you'r showing.
fact is, this channel do the complete opposite of this. That's simply why he will never go at the high level of youtubers, but that's also why some people love him and his job.
All my youtubers i m subscribed to are not overreacting and such. they are cool guys doing cool stuff. and pretty much none of them (only 2 or 3) have 1 millions subs or more.

I used bag holder for about ten years until California banned single-use bags. I thought it was great. I have one recommendation when using it: hold the bag from the sealed end and fold up to the open end. This forces the air out. *IF* the bag has air in it, once in the unit getting compacted, the tend to burst along the seam, ruining the bag.

The grippers remind me of what we used as Flight Attendants back in the day. Entree dishes we cooked were very hot and loaded onto trays that were placed into the meal carts. When we served inflight we would use a similar item to remove the hot entrees and onto the meal tray, peel off the foil and to the Passenger. We looked good doing it and no burnt fingers. Entree dishes were stoneware style which held onto the heat. Not sure I would be comfortable living a large plate or pot with them.

The worst with standard apple corers, is that you can’t get the core out and it rarely takes the whole core out. I love this new one if I want the apple in one piece. If cutting it in two is OK, the best corer in the world is a melon baller spoon, leaves the apple so pretty! I use gripper clip a lot! Esp for lifting out the Instant Pot inner pot and straight walled bowls. I do own a different type though, which is made from thick, brushed steel, works great for many things the green one isn’t too great for. LOVE THEM! Got mine cheap on aliexpress.

Oooh I'm gonna get that apple corer. I've cut myself trying to poke the core out of the one that I have. Only downside is that it looks like it might be wasting a little bit, especially on smaller apples. .

One thing you should try and conjunction with this product if you're worried about fingerprints on stainless steel is stainless steel cleaner and they also have a product that repels fingerprints

The non-slicing corer would be good for making baked apples

My grandma had a grocery bag dispenser that had a similar idea, but it was made out of cloth rather than metal.

Yep! I have a cloth bag with a hanging piece at the top and it’s on her inside of my laundry room door. I’ve had it for years but I still end up with too ma y of those hated plastic bags - I try very hard not to use them as I prefer my reusable bags - husband won’t change!🤭🤭🤭

I have idea you might consider if you don't want to keep cleaning finger prints off your bag dispenser cover the metal part with contact paper. Thank you for your reviews i injoy your content

How about you don't get the bag dispenser but switch to linen bags or any other non plastic alternative? Great video ☺️

Most of the containers tested with the gripper clips would be easier to hold with silicone mini potholders.

I had the Simple Human bag thang... I loved it!
Simple Human products, however, are a bit pricy for those of us on a budget. Mine was a gift for a new apartment, so I didn't realize the price until I tried to replace it. (It was in a box that the movers lost. 🥺)
Regardless... The quality is worth the price, IMO.

I am wondering what people's favorite apples are - mine is Gala.

A lot of people don’t know that every part of the apple is edible and nutritious, including the core, the seeds and even the stem. So you can actually eat the entire apple and chew up the seeds and the core and it will not in the least hurt you in any way, and you will get the added bonus of additional nutrients. You just have to get over the notion that you were raised to think these things were not edible. But they are!

The corer also seems like it'd fit the 4th criteria of a good kitchen gadget - easy to clean. Cause if you spend more time cleaning the gadget than it saves, you won't use it.

The grocery bag dispenser is, unfortunately, quite useless here in NY. Why? Because they have banned the plastic grocery bags, lol!😂

Ikea has a similar, plastic despenser for plastic bags. Works great and much cheaper!

you know many peelers are made at an angle, mostly to get just the skin off something but also for this purpose, take your apple peeler and stab from the top to the bottom and then to the other side still from the top, might need to do it 3 times to full cut around the core but once your done you can push it straight out.

I just cut a smooth, 2 1/2" hole near the top of an empty, clean gallon milk jug, and stuff my grocery bags into that. It holds a lot more than 30 bags, and it costs Pennie's.
