    I love the silicon shoe laces. I don’t even wear my new shoes until I put the silicon shoe laces on them. One thing I noticed, I put them on from smaller to bigger order so the biggest of the ones I use are at the top of the shoe. Makes the shoes a true slip on, no need to use your hands at all.

    I have what was marketed as a salad spinner. It’s similar to the one here, but the colander bowl fits inside of a solid bowl, plus it has a lid. When you spin it, it doesn’t sling liquid everywhere.

    The Spina is a great idea! Makes me want to get rid of my spinner with all its different pieces (bowl, outer bowl, lid, handle) and you end up having to clean/dry all of those after you use it. Ugh, really wish I could trade it in for a Spina.

    The Spinna reminds me of one of those "popcorn popper" baby toys. I think it worked the same- you pump it and it spins some balls inside of the plastic container. The Spina looks cool, however I have some quibbles. Like you said it obviously sprays everywhere, but my main gripe is that you need a separate bowl to wash the greens in because simply spraying then isn't going to cut it. They need to soak.

    on the car test for the pillow, it looks like that strap on the front could be used if you turn it around, and put the seat belt through it. not sure, but it looks to me like that might hold it if you have to hit the breaks. the veggie spinner is a good design. I have seem much more complicated versions that were more trouble than they are worth. I like the simple to use design of this one better.

    Been using the silicone shoelaces ( different type tho)for years on my trainers. Don't have to worry about the laces untying during a training session and tripping over it. The shoes are relly easy to slip on and off and feel really tight on the leg.

  • @drabonlady
    @drabonlady 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I have the same type of laces. They don't work properly if you have wide or tall feet. They either pop out or are to tight and hurt or make your feet numb. I have tried several brands with the same results. They, however, work wonderfully on kid's shoes when they don't know how to do their laces.

    • @crystalkerstal
      @crystalkerstal 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually those are just companies that send them in hopes they get reviewed but there is no obligation. It’s only those that reach out that pay for you to actually review them that can become a chore. Sending stuff in the mail is best for smaller channels that are trying to grow. Because they have to spend their own money to make a video that has no sponsor, so it’s better when you get something for free as a small channel for content. As your channel gets bigger you have the luxury to pick and choose what you review and get to put a price on how much you charge to make the video.

    I checked out your overstock store. I had to laugh at how many light bulbs and lights companies sent you.

    Spina: seems to work but i worry about the durability of the spinning mechanism. Cup Cozy pillow : looks good to me , i may buy one.

    That Spina works exactly like a too I had when I was very young (I’m now 74!). It stuck to the floor and the top handle was pulled up and down - just like the Spina - and as you pulled up and down the,top,spun faster and faster and stayed spinning for some time after pumping the handle. Not a new idea - just used in a new way. But to me a salad spinner is less messy as the water is spun into an exterior container instead of in the sink. But I love your videos.

    Not sure the Cup Cozy Pillow would hold up to hard braking in the car.

      I was thinking that too. Or even a moderately sharp turn.
      Maybe something to feed the middle seat seatbelt through would help there.

    I actually bought some of those silicone shoe laces, they’ve been on my high tops for years and have not failed, and I wear those shoes regularly. I generally hate the process of taking hightops on and off and they turned them into slip-on shoes. Made them one of my least favourite into one of my most favourite pair of shoes just by changing the laces

    UGH, for the shoes, if you're sick of real laces, just get velcro.
    They look like crap, but they do somewhat look like real laces. 😀

    The spinna looks promising. Centrifugal force is amazing at removing water. Just ask your washing machine and dryer. Plus, it reminds me of a miniature version of the giant spinners used for salads in restaurants.

    Those no tie shoe laces, I am disabled and I bought them three years ago from Wish for a dollar, they are in my puma training shoes and are still working fine. I have two sets in two different pairs and never slipped off or broke.

    James, I believe you have the silicone laces in the wrong order. The smaller, shorter ones go on the bottom and the longer, larger ones go on top.

      I was just going off what the pictures on their website showed. Also shoes have a "V" shape for the lace eyelets.
