I was just about to comment that. A bread slicer is one of the most usual kitchen gadgets in Germany 😂 How is it 200 dollars though? They are waaay cheaper here in Germany. I swear I have seen electric ones that are cheaper
Those duck/heart/bear molds aren't really meant for food. They were made to make snowballs. As for why TikTok people make it look easy, it's because a lot of them are faked. Anyone interested how should check out the How to Cook That channel's Debunked series. She tries the method, and when it inevitably fails, she explains why.
In the hot pot. First place your ingredients in the serving bowl. Then put the heating element in the bottom of the cook bowl then add water. Cover and wait set time. Kids would love the noodle slide!
The smaller flower dumpling makers work amazingly well! You have to use thin sheets. That’s why I just like the pre-made ones. Because they’re the perfect size and make a perfect flower. That big one is wild! Lol
for the flowering dumpling maker: - you need a much thinner dough! roll it out a bit more first. - WAYYYY less filling!! - dip a finger in some water and trace the edges of the dough circle before having the gadget close it, the water acts as a "glue" with the dough hope these help if you decide to give it another shot!
my mum used one of these bread slicers up until the late 90s. it was a very common thing to have in the GDR. you could find it in basically every household. of course it was very cheap back then. $200 is ridiculous.
Imagine getting to lunch time and realising that you forgot to charge your lunch box 😅 That's the problem with us having more and more electric dependent items. It's super convenient until you forgot to charge it or don't have enough power sockets or there's a power cut. Also it gets blimin expensive, not just to buy them in the first place but to afford the inflated power bills from having to charge a dozen things for each family member every day. Having said that, I'd be lost without half my electronic devices! 😂
There are other companies that makes heating lunchboxes. The noodle slide looks like it would be a nightmare to clean, so I am not sure how sanitary it would be. It also looks like a fun way to cool down your kids noodles. The train looks like a fun concept. I wonder if you can get more tracks to make it bigger.
I have the lunch box that heats up but mine has an insert that comes out and takes about an hour to heat my food. It plugs in and is called a microwave lunch box for about $40!
For the butter bear, try running the outside under hot water or dip it in warm water for a very short time (not long enough for the whole thing to melt but just long enough to warm up all of the mold) for a short time before opening it. It will slightly melt the layer that is stuck to the mold just enough to loosen it and hopefully let it come loose from the mold properly rather than pull apart when you do open it
The first self (add water, same looking heat pouch) heating meals came out in the early 80's (US), and I did love them, but for some reason it was short lived!
@@sia7051 yea you're probably right, but at first it was a cool thing, which made it much easier to heat up, rather than walking minutes to a microwave, and back. I used to work in a very big motor plant, and at breaks & lunch, just don't fell like walking for minutes to the closes microwave....lol
My dad was in the military and they have those self heating packs for all of their food. They can be dangerous if you don't do them properly, so having them readily available, probably would not be a good thing. He told me when they used to get bored in the desert during deployment they would put whatever's in the packs and soda bottles and they would stretch out like 20+ feet.😂

The first one reminds me of both the deli slicer and the kitchen mandolin, which are famous for demanding blood from their users. The heating pack is basically a chemical battery that gets shorted out by the water you add, generating a bunch of heat. If the reaction is sluggish you can add a bit of salt to the water to make it more electrolytic.
3:58 error in instructions, adding water to that pouch is the last thing you do. 10:17 you need to make the dough a lot thinner like at most 2.5mm thick with thin edges
For the dumpling maker you should have tried putting a bigger circle of dough on the machine because when you tried it it look quite small so it wasn’t able to close the top - and for the noodle water slide it works better with smaller amounts of noodles, keep up the good work
Both the noodles ‘fountain’ and ‘river’ are great during summer. You can add ice cubes into the water so that the noodles will be cold when you eat them. You can add fruits, cucumber or carrots letting them ‘float’ in the river while you have dips in the serving bowls.
12:37 that is way too much noodles for a single serving/catch... 12:54 you're supposed to catch it on the big straight slide. The basin is already too late. That basin is to catch everything you missed

I'm German and my grandparents generation probably all had the bread and deli slicer, although the one in my grandma's kitchen was an electric one.
