    This was such beautiful, practical and straightforward career advice. “Not spending all the time fighting systems that may or may not change.” Exactly. Because boy does that begin to feel like a second job. Amazing.

    Lots of good discussion this episode. My company recently started up a women's mentorship program that I joined. We were matched with mentors based on what we wanted to get out of the program and any goals we may have set for ourselves
    Lauren also had some interesting points on thriving in your career. I completely agree that sometimes we have to do a little extra in order to make a name for ourselves in our careers. I think for Gen Z (and even myself as a milenial) its about learning to find that balance between "yeah i can take in that extra project and learn a new skill" and "no this isnt part of my job"
