They still do not learn. Anyone who has actually rode on a scooter with the horrible square wave controller and a scooter with a sine wave controller knows how huge of a difference it makes. Square controllers cannot be smooth. It forces the motor to start out at 100%. All or nothing. Sine wave is butter smooth. You can accelerate slowly or all out. I stay away from dualtrons because of this. Square wave is installed because its easier and cheaper. Don’t believe me? Ride both types before buying
The decks 3 inches longer. The magnets are 11 mm larger. Increases efficiency and range. Slows acceleration so they increased the controller from a 40 amp to a 50 amp to regain the torque
CLASSIC! First thing I noticed that I did not like was the POXY looking headlights! Id either mount them up under the bars or ditch them! I chose not to upgrade since the getting my original THUNDER and its still running perfect! I did grab an EAGLE PRO just as its much lighter to chuck in car, carry up stairs, or over fences if the Po Po want to disco. 😅

Dual stems remain king for every situation and I just don't get it why dualtron remains making single stem scooters. That's really the only reason i don't own dualtron.

You know what heart me more... I was the first telling you about thunder 3 (you didn't even know) and didn't tell even a shut out...😔 Anyway... First of all didn't say anything about motors upgrade (70 mm magnets, same with Storm LD).. here is the trick and 55 miles top speed.. Bigger magnets (from 60 to 70 mm) with same winding (22*3) means more torque, lower top speed... Second.. battery pack is the same with thunder 2, that means LG M50TL cell max discharge 14.4a .. So pack is 20s8p... 8×14.4= 115.2a Thunder 3 needs 130a..🤷 These cells give 14.4a discharge and rise temperature almost 80° and power from 4890a to 4400a.. Where is the SAFETY..???😬 Please make these questions to minimotor store when you go to test it... Till now Ultra 2 has the highest top speed, because Battery - Controllers - Motors are synchronize like a Beethoven sonata...!!😁 Can thunder 3 follow Ultra 2 to top speed...🤔

Yea because the controllers are in the deck my ultra 2 has the controllers on the kick plate and if u put turbo on for lets say 3 to 5 min the heat that comes out of that heat sink is crazy hott the rear tire actually heats up because i took that stupid mud guard off
Yes ,Plus you can’t change and put there new stronger controllers because on thunder 3 they are connected with bluetooth and you should have exactly minimotors controllers but 65ah cotrollers for that power is too weak easy to overheat

What I been riding for over 3 years on my 55mph KAABO and my 62mph dualtron ultra 2 i never fell not saying it can't happen but the suspension and tires it comes with especially with a steering damper have u ever rode a good 11inch scooter cause If u did u wouldn't be saying what your saying!
@@TheElectricScooterGuy having a good scooter help but it does not prevent you from falling.I have 2 dx2 and 1 dx2up.I almost fell because of the street.It was no tar on the street and it was at night so couldn't see it because of traffic and the next thing you know my tires spun out of control.If it wasn't for the 13 inch tires I know for sure I would have fell.Absolutely no grip.Another time I almost fell because of oil in the street from someone's car and it was a overwhelming amount.If it was not for those thirteen inch wheels.I would have fell again.Ive rode 11 inch tires and it's the whole reason I switched to 13 inch.There are parts of a road or street you can't predict specially if you just exploring.This is what made me switch because my city full of nasty pot holes and terrible streets but I was riding going down hill and a massive pot hole was in the middle of the street and after the pothole the street was just ate up real bumpy nothing you could do but try to slow down but it was so steep and cars were flying down behind me and in front of me I had no option but to keep coasting and barely made it.Scared the living shit out of me it was a hole in the street that was almost as wide as my tire they were 11inch before I went over it I thought I was about to flip.Luckly my tire was just wide enough just to run over that gap.So I have not came close to falling since I got those thirteen inch tires.They come in handy for balance and comfort.They are wide to and that's what you need riding in the street.You can't predict elements and obstacles that may come your way.Since I have a choice it have to be thirteen inch or higher cause it's just the safest option.My safety comes first.So in emergency situations I would choose 13 .So that's what I'm a stick with it's just way more balance.Specially when the street throw a curve ball at you it's easier for you to control your scooter with 13 inch wheels.Ive tried both.11 inch wheels is not the way to go going down a steep hill with pot holes and tore up road in the middle of traffic is the last place you wanna be with 11inch wheels trust me.
I wonder of Dualtron will ever make a scooter with Handlebars people actually like.... because they're long enough with a Mountain Bike style Curve. Just a thought
