Saints Peter And Paul Church is a large Catholic church located in San Francisco, California. The church was completed in 1924 and has been the home church and cultural center for San Francisco’s Italian-American community since it was built. Even though the church isn’t the cathedral of the Archdiocese Of San Francisco, the church has been nicknamed the Italian Cathedral Of The West. The church has appeared in the Clint Eastwood movies The Dead Pool and Dirty Harry, and many other movies and TV shows. The church also contains a BRG carillon that rings every half hour on weekdays and signals the Angelus.
