Great filming. So beautiful you could go many times. And loved that you labelled the landmarks. 💜

Absolutely gorgeous. When I visited in the mid 80s, I only visited in the main sanctuary. But I was only there for like a half an hour because my mother wanted to go shopping. LOL So beautiful. Wow, thank you for the special views for just us members!!! We are special! LOL, yes, looking up so much of the beautiful art work, I would get a sore neck. LOL Such a treat, you took us way up on top. I love the choir! My my, the gilding is wonderful. The Stone Gallery on the upper outside lends to some gorgeous views of London. And we go higher?!! Ya. My, 600 AD!!! That is hard to comprehend and that people can still climb and go in and the intricate stone work and art work is still wonderful. I never knew you could go up top like this. The stair way looks like those of a typical US light house. AH!! The Golden Gallery!! I would love to climb to this. Your organ music piece and English classical musical piece here are so apropos! So looking at London's landmarks, it looks like you are higher than the London Eye! Is that correct? Just spectacular. On some of your London landmarks, what is The Shard? Elephant's Castle and Shakespeare Globe are new to me, never heard of them. The Crypt was awesome - all the historical monarchs and states people!! Duke of Wellington and Florence Nightingale! I would appreciate that free audio tour. My favorite is the Golden Gallery and the lovely ceilings of the ground floors. I really enjoyed this and thank you for all the detailed history. This was way different from my quick visit many.....many years ago. LOL. Blessings. Westminster Abbey - coming up!!!

So glad you enjoyed it in advance! The Golden Circle does give such amazing views but not as tall as the London Eye. The Shard is the tallest building in London with offices and a hotel high up with plus the top floors 72-74 are for public viewing. The Globe theatre was rebuild in about 2000 in the style of the original Shakespeare theatre, open to the elements and showing his plays. The elephant and castle building is just one of those, with three fans on top that shows across the London skyline. Yes those stairs up were ones to do carefully and could imagine in a lighthouse 😂 Thanks Luana 👍😀

You may want to look up “sky garden “ for higher views instead of the eye. I was told by a Londoner to avoid the eye & do sky garden instead . I’m booked for an early am yoga there next month

What a fantastic 👏 📹🎥. I have been waiting for this. You would never get me to those heights as I am afraid 😨 of heights. I know I couldn't do those stairs at all. You must be very fit. There were cranes unfortunately 😕😔😞. The views were stunning 😍 despite that. What beautiful architecture . It's amazing to think that people had to go to those heights to do them. It's like the old portraits you just couldn't make a mistake. It would be very difficult I am sure as you are in such a weird position to create the 🎨🖼 artwork. You really showed the beauty of the cathedral. I don't think I ever went there myself all the time I lived in England. As it's just there all the time you just don't think about them. It's a shame that the whispering gallery was closed. I was hoping Jaden and you would try it out !. Really great video 📹👍👏.

Steve, it's your unbridled passion which separates your channel from the rest of the pack - that, and your informational tips which make one's visit that much more enjoyable, or prevent one's visit from being less than enjoyable. You are too good to us! Another brilliant video - thanks for sharing all the amazing areas and aspects of this magnificent cathedral. Question: Is there any information shown in St. Paul's about the bomb dropped on the cathedral during WWII? I am looking forward to your next movie: Carry On Climbing. Favorite bit: those panoramic views from the top, though as someone is is mortified by heights, I will thank you for allowing me the chance for such views without the requisite screaming and crying should I ever attempt such a feat. Truly, you are the best.

I was an exchange student in London when I was 17. We visited St.Pauls and Westminster on the same day. I loved the difference between the Gothic and Baroque styles, but I have to admit I liked Westminster a little more. The Stone of Scone was still under the coronation chair then(this was early '96) and one of the guys working at there let me touch it for luck. Best trip of my life...

The number of steps to the very top (Golden Gallery) is about 530 and your ticket price, through St Pauls, covers you for everything you can visit - hope that helps and if going have a fantastic time :)
