Anxiety really sucks!! Thanks for sharing this, cannot believe someone have been through the same anxiety problems as I am.. now I felt so normal 🤣🤣🤣 ! I cannot meditate, but I need to run every morning to clear my mind.
You don't know how much you helped an anxious student like me! 🤣 same things happened to me in my medical school, i worked so hard but I end up having an average score
Thank you for this video, it's so relatable. I am about to start my USMLE journey and I am a nervous wreck. Your video has given me comfort and motivation.

I wanted to do business studies but I got decent marks in neet and got into medical college. I didn't liked studying medicine at first... So I had suppli in 1 st year all 3 subject. I gave the exam empty.. later I cleared them.. and also developed interest in medicine.. now I am preparing for usmle step 1. (4 months in) (expecting240-250 acc to NBME). Will suppli in my exams in first year affect my residency application very negatively? Or it doesn't matter much? Thanks
Hi manik I hope you are having a great life, your video change many things for me , I cannot say thank you enough, also I can see you have a great personality and sense of humor, all that while been a really smart person. I really wanted to ask you 2 things. You seem to be a really busy person, so when and how much time do you meditate? And what book do you recommend on the subject of been outcome oriented ? I would really appreciate your answer! Hope you always be a person that many people admire and need.
Dude 72% in MBBS is unbelievably good. I'd pray to get such marks. MBBS exams are subjective and your knowledge isnt even tested. It's about mugging certain test questions. So yeah I am not so sure anxiety curtailed your performance tbh.
Hope it helps me!! I don't get anxiety in prof examinations but by solving mcqs i get anxious and many mcqs get wrong even i know the true answer!!! And best of luck for Step2

Do u think it’s reasonable for me to target for residency 2023 ( right now I’m a blank page haven’t given any steps also). I finished my internship at the end of march 2020. If I have to get into July 2023 residency then I have to apply for interviews in Sept 2022, so by then my yog gap would have been almost 2.5 years, do you think it’s a red flag? I’m going to start my preparation for the step 1, right now I feel like I’m on level 0 with my knowledge, for a person like me do u suggest I do Kaplan videos or boards and beyond ( I have not studied anything related to step 1 in the past and Whatever I have learned in mbbs I don’t really remember anything. Could u please suggest what is better for me Kaplan or BnB or should I do both ?? So that I can finish my preparation in a reasonable amount of time and also get a very high score. I’m ready to put in as much as effort possible to get a really good score It would be very very helpful if u could clarify my doubts
Hi manik I am in a pretty bad state I did my mbbs in one of the good medical schools in india(got in with All india rank 295/state entrance rank 302)but was a very terrible medical student. i thought i lacked passion in the subject.i gave importance into developing my social skills and building friendships during college.and due to an external examiners grace,i failed in final year obg practical.(he failed my next number too-still dont know why we were failed) I used to be the type _study in the last minute and pass_ but that resulted in a big blow to my basics.but was a good intern. Now iam working in a private hospital and iam loving medicine.bcs i am understanding the disease progression better on an individual patient level(back in my college it is the most hectic hospital in south india ,so it was more clinical oriented than academic and intership was a 24 to 48 to 72 hr never ending tiresome shifts .). NOW iam in the pathway to do USMLE. I am scared of the outcome. I feel like i lack intelligence and zest for this journey. Also all my bestest friends who were jollying and had similar medical school bg and grades as me has now cracked neet pg(and i cudnt write it cs i was in U.S) ,matched into dermat ,IM,surgery, radio etc.And i feel like i am far behind in this rat race. LoL Kindly give some advice.I feel so depressed and feel like i lack enough brilliance for this journey
hmm.. i really feel that passion trumps brilliance anyday. what if your friends matched into residencies, this is your story, your movie. Be the star. If you want something with all of your heart, the whole world will conspire for you to get it. Don't worry you are going to make it and even if you dont life doesnt end there. You can do anything with your life, this is your movie. if there were no ups and downs life wont be interesting. Just keep putting in work and trust me in the end it will all be worth it.
I am going through this. I still have 15 months till my step 1 USMLE. Just because, people advised me to do UWorld on subject mode, and I am inclining towards random-timed. I am freaking out. The same thing- What if I fail? Will I have more regrets?
