    Sir , Very good presentation. I think you wanted to say peripheral dopa decarboxylase inhibitors but you said peripheral dopa decarboxylase

      Yes, you are correct. I should have told it as peripheral dopa decarboxylase inhibitors. Thanks for pointing out this.

      Even if it was told as peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor, how does it act on brain?? How can we call it as an exception?
      It just protects levodopa from getting converted to dopamine in the periphery and ensures more amount of levodopa to cross BBB. It is the levodopa that acts on brain.. How come carbidopa??.
      And if you give carbidopa alone, does anything happen to brain??
