- Miles blue venom is a hard counter to symbiotes
- Miles was using the bells sound, the other hard counter to symbiotes
- Peter just finished fighting Kraven, who was also using the bell a lot

Exactly. Peter was still holding back his intent to kill even against Kraven. If Peter didn’t fight from within and became one with the symbiote, he would’ve been a more dangerous Venom.
Hell, Miles couldn’t even beat Kraven by himself, and Harry’s Venom just dogwalked Kraven. Imagine Peter fully turning into Venom.
honestly i wish we could had a mental fight on pete's mind between red suit him x symbiote... so he is fighting inside his mind and miles outside, BUT i think they didn't made that because they wanted peter to keep roasting miles in the way, peter just started wanting to get rid of it near the end of the fight. Well, if we fight fucking mj 5 times they could make a 5 part fight with peter. 2 times miles x bad peter, 2 times peter in red x symbiote in his mind, 1 final part miles x just the symbiote controlling pete and end over

You are wrong, stop being such a fan of Peter and use your brain, Miles won legitimately, he has much more potential, and more abilities, Miles was also in an internal fight because of what just happened with Martin Li, and having to fight with his mentor and save him without hurting him, Peter defeated several stronger enemies using his intellect, thousands here did the same, the student sooner or later surpasses the teacher 🤙🏻.
Yuri’s voice performance during Peter and Miles’s fight was crazy awesome he really gave it his all in showing just how much of the symbiote’s toxic influence was affecting Peter

I've always thought Yuri Lowenthal has a samey voice problem, but he did a really good job there. I did actually tear up a bit hearing how sad Peter sounded 4:00 and on, really goes to show that while Pete appears to not take the things Jonah says seriously he is actually worried about what he's doing, and the symbiote played off those insecurities and revealed he does actually worry that he might be the cause more bad than good (plus the recent MJ article and the danika cast right before then)
You don't need the symbiote suit to make you a better Spider-Man, it is your inner strength, virtue, and the strength of your mind, body, and spirit that make you who you are.
Just because you possess ultimate power that makes you much more powerful than before, doesn't mean that you don't need the people closest to you to help you, guide you, and save you anymore. Sometimes we all need a little help, guidance, and saving.

I felt so sorry for Peter during this fight. He’s just a deeply traumatised little boy who’s lost everyone he’s ever loved and only ever wanted to save them and be validated for what he’s suffered and done. He has dedicated his life to fighting the good fight and helping people and all he ever gets for it is shit on by everyone and punished by the universe more than any villain ever has or will be. He’s judged more than anyone else when no one else (other than Miles and Mj) are willing to do anything and he’s so damaged he’s consumed by the symbiote and creates his own greatest enemy through his own grief. No wonder he can’t give it up. He’s finally found something that reassured him he’s everything everyone forces and judges him to be. Peter deserves better ! Not to mention if they sacrifice him in spiderman 3 he will be what… 26 years old. 26 years old and he will have only ever tried to do what’s right and will die for it

Insomniac knew what they were doing with making Kraven say "harder" while being choked by a Symbiote Peter
If this was a No Damage boss fight, it would have ruined the immersion. The trading of blow, Peter hitting Miles while he tries to ring the bell, really nails the fight.
This fight reminded me of an arguement I had with a friend who was an amazing dude but lost himself due to drugs and bad influences. Couldnt save him. It was tough.

I like how the symbiote is portrayed on Peter. He couldn’t take control of his emotions and was struggling against the symbiote and mindlessly fighting Miles. Meanwhile Miles was much more collected, and had more control over his powers, and the bells, which is why I believe he won. Also, Yuri’s voice acting is literally a 10/10!
But at the end of the game my opinion on it has definitely changed for the worse. While I still think they nailed the symbiote and how Yuri is incredible, it’s so obvious they made Peter a weakling to pave way for the new (and less interesting) Miles Spider-Man. You can just tell they want Miles (who never makes mistakes btw) to seem like he’s a better Spider-Man than Peter ever was and that Peter is useless. Truly heartbreaking at how disrespectful this game was to Peter.

@Howlingburd19 No, power wise, Peter isn't raw powering through Miles' electric attacks and is gonna be given HELL if Miles used his invisibility (which can get around spidersense). And that even goes for venom Peter. Peter needs to stick with just using speed and smarts cause he aint winning in terms of power
@@BIGTHANKSHEESH if we’re talking source material, perhaps Miles has more powers from a quantity standpoint, but by default Peter is a better, physically stronger fighter with more experience, and has a superior Spider-Sense. Look it up yourself.
So here, I personally think Peter should win; but Miles could win if something aids him, and in this case, I think the symbiote was Peter’s weakness. It messed up his mind and morals. Plus, there’s the bells (the bells were also the symbiote’s weakness in the comics, it’s how Peter removed the symbiote in the first place in I believe 1985).
I think the lesson is you don’t need the symbiote to truly be a hero!

Let’s not forget right after miles beat li. Kraven captured and beat miles in a cage but that’s probably because miles was really drained after the li fight to defend himself.
What people seem to not understand is that while the Symbiote amps Peter it also gives him a crippling weakness against Miles.
It’s been a thing for years that miles can potentially electrocute Symbiotes to death with his powers.
Venom Blast + Bell Peter really never stood a chance.
This, strength while, Peter already out classed miles by a good amount, the symbionts just made that gap in power even worse.
But Miles is able to keep up thanks to his venom and the curch bells.
Also Miles' electricity was kinda Amp by Mister Negative who can also affect the symbiotes.

People are misunderstanding two things about this game.
First, this fight isn't Peter vs Miles, it's Miles and Peter vs Venom. This becomes apparent near the end when Peter says he knows he's better than the suit, but then it takes control again, as if not trying to let him go. Peter is trying to fight the suit to, but is clearly having a hard time.
The second thing is Miles' beef with Martin, and people (admittedly me to at first) thinking Miles was out for blood. He wasn't. He just didn't want a repeat of what happened with his dad, and wanted to protect those he loved, he didn't wanna kill him. Kick his ass, hell yeah, but not kill.
Spider-Man (Miles Morales): I am Miles Morales, your oldest friend. Peter Parker, will lay down my life for you.

I’m ngl it makes perfect sense for Peter to lose here. Even with the suit… there’s obvious weaknesses that are EASILY exploited throughout. The bell specifically as miles is constantly using it when fighting. Second Peter is tryna combat it mentally too so that’s also making him weaker as he can’t focus on a fight. Third I do think we have to accept that miles is surpassing Peter. I love both miles and Peter, and it makes sense for miles to surpass Peter because not only does miles have really good abilities but he also has been training under one of the BEST spidermen out there. No duh he’s going to surpass him, that’s the point of a mentor. I do think that they could’ve handled Peter a bit better in this game but overall an amazing game and somehow better than both its predecessors.

I think in a fight between normal Peter and miles Peter should win because he was more experience and combat ability while in this fight it makes sense for Peter to lose cause he’s literally fighting something in his head and it’s only really venom actually fighting miles so Peter in this is less concentrated and ravenous so of course he would lose

Hope you don't mind me saying, but the Symbiote boss fights are kinda like Shadows from Persona 4. True, they're a corrupting force, but they also bring out real personal problems from deep within. They're not just battles, they're essentially counseling sessions.

Tbh I think they might be equals currently, Miles might have more powers then Peter, but (to my knowledge) he hasn’t had the amount of experience Peter has had, and plus adding on to what you said, I don’t think Pete was fighting like he does in the game, the suit has him perform more simplistic and brutal moves due to heightened aggression. In a real fight? I’m not sure, but it could definitely go either way or just lead to a tie, as while Peter has more experience, Miles has more tools to work with, but if that ever happens I hope Insomniac allows us to play it and choose which one we want to play as.

What makes me mad is how smooth brained Peter's motivations are with the symbiote and how the writer made it seem like being recognkzed as the hero was all he cared about.
You misunderstand. The symbiote takes advantage of a person’s weakness and corrupts that person with it. Peter Parker deep down wished to be recognized for the hero he was but he always suppressed that feeling. The symbiote however unsuppressed it

But he does a great job at suppressing it and being mature. However the symbiote brings out those dark feelings and makes Peter act like and say things he’d never say or do. His inner demons include insecurity. Peter had spent his entire heroic life as Spider-Man being called a menace and criminal. Peter got used to it of course but that doesn’t mean those feelings aren’t still present at the deep part of his mind.

Since nobody understands, Nobody won the fight. Miles was able to convince peter to take the suit off. Miles did not knock peter out or anything, all he did was use the bell to weaken him and tried convincing him to take it off.
By that very logic, that means Miles won as he got Peter back, which he wanted. He wanted to help Peter to stop being more and more like venom. Mind you, it wasnt till Miles was giving Peter the Bakugo that Peter started to come round to what Miles was saying. For the first half of the fight, Peter was clinging to the venom suit like his life depended on it

Peter fought many times against stronger enemies using his intellect, that's why Miles did the same using the bell, he also had an internal fight recently about Li, and he was trying to save his mentor without hurting him too much, he held back and won legitimately. , has more potential than Peter and he showed that throughout the game, don't be ardent fans of Peter, this is so true and Peter is aware of it, that he left the mantle of Spiderman to Miles for a while.

Miles beat Peter cause of gameplay reasons 😂 I know Miles has the Venom abilities and camouflage, but let's be honest, in this battle Peter has the Symbiote which enhances his strength and resistance(not to mention over 6-7 years of experience as Spidey, and the Symbiote makes him immune to Miles Spider sense), Miles beat him cause he was holding back and not to mention he had a giant bell to produces the main weakness of symbiotes.

A review of what to expect from this game: Miles as a character-awesome; Symbiote Peter as a character-awesome; Regular Peter as a character- boring. About exciting as a bag of classic lays on a family picnic.
* Now what should've been done for regular Peter is Black cat action. Intimate espionages around the city together. While old mother Hubbard (Mary J) keeps Butt-buddy Harry occupied. That would've made being Peter enjoyable.
