Great review! I agreed with most points I just think you didn't really explore desktop mode which is where the steam deck shines in my opinion. This thing can run everything from Gameboy era to playstation 3 era, games from multiple stores including: gog, epic, amazon, itch etc, can stream games from gaming PC/laptop, PS5 or Xbox, is open so you can install anything you want on it including other OSes like windows, or even multiple and many more features in a portable form factor. One major downside is that it is incompatible with games that utilize kernel level anticheat, which for me is a good thing, but not for others. Yeah I think that's a fair point! I didn't really explore that has much as I should of and I appreciate your raising the point for other viewers to ponder. Might do a separate analysis focused on Desktop Mode to balance out the discussion.
I bought the 512gb OLED model don't get it yet I'm in Jamaica but I'm planning to put a 1tb portable SSD with windows boot to play games while still having the steam os
