That would make the light a lot larger. Plus potential implications with certain laws

Those already exist and they suck lol there is a reason even police don't like tazers unless there is 5 on top of a suspect your contending with clothes and all that plus in winter good luck never count on a tazer a l.e.p light is more effective by causing temporary blindness

Last year i discovered how effective a bright light against a dog at night is i was carrying my surefire g2x 15lumens low and 600lumens high me amd my gf at the time were walking our dog when very aggressive bvery big dog not on a leash came to attack our dog i started at 15lumens it did nothing but when i tapped to 600 the dog lost the fight but after research i found its because i ruined its vision it literally couldnt see so it prompted me to do some experiments with types of lighting vs aggressive animals as well as nvg use against aggressive animals they do sense ir light but i dont think theys ee it all that well and aggressive animals cower when they know your there but cant see you say pitch black no ambient light and only infrared

Nitecore EDC33 (from Google translator): arrived today 2/01/2024 and returned after 2 hours, it's not all positive!
PRO: 1) incredibly powerful;
2) fast charging;
3) pocket-sized.
AGAINST: 1) the lighting sequence is incomprehensible or doesn't work, it switches from maximum to ultra low without intermediate steps (it's a new product, there may be something to review);
2) it heats up too quickly and being small forces you to hold it from the end with just your fingers and use it with two hands (it cannot be used as a tactical torch);
3) the power button causes too much resistance on the second click and it is not possible to use it holding the flashlight with only one hand, especially when the flashlight is hot because the hand has to slide backwards and to change brightness you need to use two hands;
4) it's shameful that it doesn't come with a case, it has a strap that's useless (low-grade gadget).
Final judgement: powerful but unmanageable.
Hello sir. No perfect flashlight. Each flashlight is designed for different purposes. Edc33 is not perfect. I don't like built-in in battery and not having Strobe mode. Yes. It's too hot on the highest mode. Lumin Shield is not designed for long duration use. 5-10 seconds allows you to have enough time to escape from threat and you can reactivate it. I don't have problems with its switch sir. It's fine for me. Just only battery and no strobe. Mine gets hot too but I can hold it. Thanks for watching and your support sir. Please subscribe 😊 🙏. @@Franco-1234 Semplicemente perché dubito che la torcia descritta sia la edc 33 per varie ragioni
1) il cambio di luminosità si ottiene toccando appena il tasto di accensione, non sono necessarie pressioni e quindi è impossibile che la mano possa scivolare.
2) il secondo click è volutamente più duro ma non così tanto da dover usare due mani.
3) il paracord in dotazione è tutt'altro che un gadget.
Another great video. Would the EDE 33 surpass all the other light that you used against the dogs. Another word, is the EDE33 way more blinding then all the other lights you tried. Thank you for your input.
Hello sir. I am not sure but it seems effective for self defense from dog attack. This early morning, it was still dark. I went cycling with EDC33, I was chased by dogs twice. I used the flashlight to fend them off. It was really effective. I turned on Lumin Shield mode for only about 3 seconds. The dogs just stopped chasing and ran away. Good thing about this flashlight is an easy access to Lumin Shield. It's very bright and still have a hotspot to blind threats. Its size is really compact too sir. I use an 18650 powered green laser for that. I also own several great quality flashlights.
wtf i hope that's a wide beam. you can blind a dog that way. probably not very humane if not a wide beam.

Would it work in sunlight? I have a years old led light that you can focus to see the square led image cast onto the ground, even at noon on a bright day. This light must be far more intense than that. Would deter an aggressive dog, even in daylight, if you can accurately aim it? If it does, postal carriers and delivery people will be all over this. Maybe there could be a special version that has optional ultrasound wired into the switch.
Hello sir. It's possible for fending off dogs at daytime but it is the most effective at night. Problem is the Short Power
