It still floors me that 3 people with this much talent were at the same high school. The odds of that.
And they all met and befriended each other, and now have an amazing life-long bond.
Zachary Goddard Millions with the potential maybe. A cappella is a hard thing to master, and the blend of these voices is phenomenal. The odds they came from the same place makes it rare.
I would say amazing that three people with the capacity to push to fulfill their dreams and the work it required all in the same place is far more amazing. They definately are talented people, but they have come a ways since they started. All the vocalists have cleaned up pitch and the live performances keep getting better.
Last count it was five people that made this dream come true. It started with Scott and then he called in his two friends and then they called in Avi and then Kevin. Without the five I don't know that we would be getting to listen to this great music today.

As mind-blowing a voice as the rest of them! My guess is that his beatbox is essential to their sound, and the others can't replace him, even if he can replace some of them? Did you know he also plays the cello? At a level 'above the clouds'? Dropped out of med school to perform in this band? He !REALLY! got up early the day talent was being dished out.

I met Tom at a show he did in Midwest Wisconsin years ago. I just happened to be at the club he performed in. By the time he was done, I was a fan. This isn't the Tom I met. He was so humble. To a fault. What you saw is what you got with him. This is the Tom he was meant to be. Now he commands respect. He earned it. We had a good conversation that night and Tom if you see this, Im damn proud of you.
I logged on this morning to listen to this song. I needed it to help me with my day. I appreciate these voices to the fullest and beyond that. This song ministers to my soul. Sometimes when I feel broken, I play this song for comfort, and it helps me to move forward in life. You all don't know what you did for me when you made this song and singed it like this. I just got home from the PTX concert in Dallas. To all the know it alls who say Scott can't sing this bass line, and that it is overproduced and autotuned, you are wrong. The live version sounded EXACTLY like this. Scott does sing the bass while Avi sings his solo. Not as loud or as strong as Avi, but pretty damn close. Their performance was amazing. I was sitting near Scott's and Mitch's parents, btw. They looked as star struck as the rest of us, lol.
