Did a run with my 21 HO on a 150 hp tune. Made 499 hp. Wasn't real happy with thise numbers as I feel it should have been better. But it was my first time on a dyno, and I was trying to keep the truck from down shifting so I started my pull at about 2000 rpms maybe closer to 2100 rpms. And outside Temps were over 90 degrees. Would sure like to now exactly how to do this right for the best readings possible. I sure wish we could keep the trans from down shifting like you can on a ford.
Just putting this out there to mull over... There's a tuner out there (tunes through EZ Link etc) that claims these trucks stock power numbers from the factory are RWHP numbers. Then, their tunes which are emissions legal and all stock trucks, adds 130hp and should be twice that roughly in torque. So on a 4t Gen average 350h 800t model year truck would be putting down 480h and 1,060t. I've had a significant amount of modified vehicles (that weren't diesels), but I rightly asked how they can say these trucks put down (i.e. RWHP) the manufacturer claimed power and then they're adding their claimed increase also RWHP? For both situations, Stock Flywheel and Performance afterwards this means the flywheel power numbers are tremendous without driveline loss.
I have a ‘22 cummins, nobody has tunes for them yet as far as I know, but I want to do a 2g swap with either the 67 or the 72mm charger. Would I need completely different tunes than what I would normally get with the stock turbo? This is my first diesel so I’m kinda new to this
I'm going to look at a 2021 this week, and the first thing I wanna do is delete it. How well does the transmission handle this power? Any advice on increasing the longevity for a 68RFE on a 21?
The stock 68RFE can handle “stock” power. When you increase the power the transmission isn’t tuned for is when you run into problems. Check out fire punk diesel and what they can do to the 68RFE.
Do you notice this turbo sounds different than other S467.7s? has more of a scream than a whistle (lol technical terms)? Thoughts?
Different compressor wheel !
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE Thanks!
Thanks for all the 5th gen content! I have a 2019 and I enjoy seeing all of this.
Thank you sir !!
Is it the stock transmission
Yes sir with a valve body.
@ what valve body is it? my dad has a 21 ram that I am wanting to 2g swap
@BADDPerformance RevMax sir! Tell them PBP sent you they will hook you up my guy!
@ thank you so much! Love watching the 5g content
How much hp would a 2019 Standard output with the overdriven CP3 swap make on the stock turbo?
We would stop around 510 because of the turbo limitation even if there was more fuel to add sir !
anyone know what wheel setup this is?
Safe, reliable power is the best. “I know a guy who will do it cheaper and it’ll have more power.” 👨🏽🌾
Post him up brother !!

Hopefully mine will be done in the next few weeks, doing cp3 swap with the same turbo, and 220 injectors, already have the fass system in.
She’s gonna rip sir ! What year ?
Parts arrive tomorrow, shld be ready next Tuesday.
What fass did you use?

Does an aftermarket big single turbo like this affect the exhaust brake in any way?
Yes sir we remove it . Any exhaust brake on the vehicles once we start the process of making power it has to go.
not deleted?
Hmmm, BJ may be getting a call from his favorite guy in Florida
He will be alive and kicking at 8am sharp!

When my ship comes in (lol) I want to do a little Allison tranny swap on my '21 2500. That's gonna run about $20k with labor.
Tier1diesel, look them up on Google for the rfe
I do not think that sound of 2nd gen swap on the 5th gen cummins.
What color is on the turbo
Starbucks
Too bad the 68RFE isn't even adequate for the stock power. 68RFE has left the chat in 3...2...1..

Mr Ignorant chiming in 3....2....1.....
My 11” 68rfe has handled 550whp for 122000 miles and counting with a 2nd gen
What trans?
68RFE
What is the color on the turbo
