The shocks and springs depends on a lot of factors. I would be happy to help you select what you need with my kit, just send me an email at atomicfandp@gmail.com. there are also a lot of pictures on my site or Facebook page, www.atomicfp.com
@@atomic178 Could you make this for a 95-2004 blazer by chance? torsion bars on those blazers are so stiff that the front end doesn't even have any give to it lol

I was looking at the kits online but I didn’t know which one to purchase. I have a 4 wheel drive 2002 GMC Yukon with 2 inch lowering springs on the rear.
Hey, you will probably want my normal bracket full kit. The lifted one is typically only for trucks that want 2" or more over stock. Shoot me an email at atomicfandp@gmail.com if you have any questions.
@Atomic178. I just purchased the full kit but ran into a problem with a 3 inch leveling! I noticed that the lower brackets are not flush with the Lca and since the arm is at an increased angle, when I turn either direction both brake calipers hit the bracket a lot resulting in no brakes. The only solution was to go to a lower leveling kit, which is very frustrating because I was hoping this kit would work. Any tips help at this point, thanks
What control arms are you using? If they are the oem ones I have seen the turn stops get worn down such that the calipers may hit. They should not touch under normal circumstances. Easy solution is to weld a washer or 2 to the LCA to make sure it stops it at the proper spot before the caliper hits. Also send me a picture of your setup to atomicfandp@gmail.com and I may see something else.
what upper control arm would you recommend with the coil overs. i have keys right now and the upper control arm is resting in the droop stops causing a horrible ride. wanting to do the coil over swap and née control arms ! thank you
The stock UCA is usually fine, but some guys upgrade to the cognito one. The droop stop is a good indicator of where the other front end parts are at their limit, so be careful circumventing that or cutting it off. If you are hitting the droop stop I typically say you need to lower it a bit or install a lift kit that drops the LCA and front diff.
So does this work on sierra/silverado trucks? Also if I put a new lower control arm on my truck more of a pre runner/performance will this kit still work Another thing can I level out my truck by putting bigger coil overs on with this kit?
Yes it works on all GM 1500 trucks and SUVs. You can use a factory replacement LCA but the stock one is fine also. Yes you can lift or lower your ride height with coilovers.
Hey Richard great video and products! Im writing from Lima, Peru South America, i have a Hummer H3 and i perfectly undestand you (Hate the torsion bars specially cause here the offroad is more in sand and they respond awkardly) im also trying to swap to coilovers so maybe as the hummer is a GM vehicle i can use your products. I would, but I don't have a 88-98 truck at my disposal to mock off of. From what I have seen their LCA is completely different and I am not sure a adapter bracket like I make would be the way to go.
I have an 02 Chevy 1500 4x4 that rides really hard. Would this kit help improve the ride quality? I'm just looking for stock ride height this truck never leaves the pavement...thank you
Hey what is your price for these? I have a 2005 Tahoe z71 all stock suspension but looking to put a 3 inch body lift would that effect these mounts in any way? Thanks
Can you verify if this kit would be compatible with a 3/4 ton 4x4? I'm looking in to a set of Sway Away or Fox coilovers to complete the set up, as well as utilizing it for a mild lift (think "leveling kit"). Additionally, is there any stability issues or excessive wear introduced to the A arm bushings or ball joints? Thanks in advance for the reply.
Kyle, my lower brackets are not compatible with 1500HD or 2500HD trucks as the LCA is much different. However, you can still do this swap on those trucks by bolting the coilover shock directly to the LCA if you trust that factory shock mount. For the top you could use my 2wd mounting upper bracket that locates the the top of the shock and holds it in place while retaining the bearing style top, or use the procomp shock adapter which works but isnt as clean or strong. I have not heard of anyone having increased wear.

Larry Adams you will be able to keep your 6" lifted height and convert to coilovers yes, but you will not be able to get an extra 3-4" for 9-10" total if that is what you are thinking.
Larry Adams the issue is with all of the other front end stuff like tie rods, CVs, ball joints, etc., and not just the suspension. The easiest way is to do a 3" body lift with your current height to get the 9-10" you want.
Maybe, as long as they use a 1/2" bolt and bearing width fits within the brackets. King/fox generally does not have a great selection of shocks in the length you need depending on your ride height. I use Viking shocks with my kit.
It is to convert the 99-06 torsion bar trucks to coilovers. The 2wd trucks have conventional coil springs with a shock in the middle (not coilovers), which I also make a kit for. If your truck already has real coilovers installed then it is not stock.
