In the meantime: I create an image in Midjourney -> I use the CREF and SREF parameters to get character consistency and style consistency, like the cool blues or the yellows depending on the scene -> upscale in Magnific on most character images -> I bring the image to Luma Dream Machine and turn off “enhance prompt” and write “very slow zoom in” or a slow camera movement prompt for dialogue scenes -> I do voice acting in ElevenLabs and smash my face on the keyboard as it comes out slow and emotionless no matter how hard I try and act -> I bring the voice and video to Runway for lip-sync -> create soundtrack in Udio
@@TheReelRobot This is beyond awesome, i just started using luma, where u get the sound fx from? if its 11s lab i'll have to take a look at it. This was top notch.
@@piggywahwah Thank you! I used Udio for the soundtrack, which can get nice ambient sounds with some SFX-style dynamics, like the music in the intro. SFX were a combo of ElevenLabs (AI-generated SFX) and Epidemic Sound
@@TheReelRobot Wow must be a magic formula to this, mine always sound a bit disjointed. Its like i can do music and visuals, and fx and visuals, but to get the script, sound fx, music and visuals all sitting perfect is a headache. I might focus on ambient sounds rather than something with a melody or bass line. Thanks for reply & info;)
@@TheReelRobot Awesome video! Saw it a few weeks back on reddit and now YT threw it up too haha. Just saw this comment and wanted to share one tip I found elsewhere recently with 11labs is to give the dialogue context prior. So like "He whispered conspiratorially..." or "She screamed at the top of her lungs" etc. Can help give it the kind of vibe you want, at the cost of slightly more credits used in the setup (though less re-rolls, right?). Still experimenting with it but it saved me some hassle so thought I'd share. Love your work, keep it up!
Really love your channel, and especially love that you're using these new tools to tell stories with a full narrative. I've watched hundreds of AI assisted short films and most lack plot progression and a resolution. Can't wait to watch you continue to develop your craft!
I make AI short films myself and really enjoyed this one. You show a lot of skill. The mood and especially the storytelling aspect is great. Keep doing what you do!
Best showcase of a AI short film since Neural Viz's Cop Files. I didn't know what to expect, good voice acting and twist that made me laugh and feel something - "that's what you get..." I thought when I saw the guy in the chair.
That change of tone to, "Now, why the fuck would you do that , Victor?" was a brilliant slice of comedy because of how it grounds some of the earlier sci-fi scenes to a bit of reality in a very tense movie. A bit of relief for the audience. Very nice work!
All of the songs were created by me using Udio. I like that one too, so was thinking of publishing it on my Udio soon, in the event you want to check that out: www.udio.com/creators/The%20Reel%20Robot
@@TheReelRobot Whaaaaat?? I was shocked as a regular person with the images that you can create in AI but now my brain is exploding that you can create such songs with AI as a musician! I mean its not a full song but even that partition is like some good old british alt rock. I think I have to start considering to get into the AI world or else I am afraid that all my efforts as a long-term musician will be replaced by them :)
@@SonerAvcu I'm a musician and actually had a small record deal when I was younger. Once you wrap your head around it, it's very cool. Udio lets you download STEMS and also upload your own riffs that it can build on top of or put professional vocals over. It's obviously giving the AI a ton of creative control, but as it gets better, you and I can create songs on a level we couldn't. Also across genres we might not have immediate familiarity with, and can suddenly sound amazing in
@@TheReelRobot That was the exact thing i was shocked about. I love listening to british alt rock but will not be that good when I try to create it. I will have to spend some serious time to digest all the details and so. The song you created with AI sounds so prefect that I immediately tried to shazam it cause it sounded quite familiar and the production was quite high quality as well. I think when you use the AI as a supportive tool like you mentioned, it may be not so frightening to people like me who don't know the advantageous sides of it. The era of "people who can lead AI" and "who can't" has begun I guess :)
@@zabiisuto I don’t want to say yes yet, because I’m doing a series for a streaming platform that’ll eat a lot of my time. My course in its current form will teach you how to get 2D and 3D animated stuff on this level though, which I probably wouldn’t use Luma for anyway because it makes it wonky
@@TheReelRobot thanks you actually just saved me sometime with that one tip. Been going through the course and was considering doing some animation with Luma and I see exactly what you're talking about.
Please share your workflow/tutorial 🙏🙏😇

This is great. Probably one of the best AI movies I've seen to date. Congrats!
Thanks man! Really appreciate that

Thanks for taking the time to comment that, because it means a lot
Wowwwww. I was on my toes throughout the film. Amazing work
*Wow, that was pretty cinematic. You've definitely given me some inspiration 😀*

I started watching Creature, and my girls heard the music and voiceovers. They came running over to join me. We loved it!

Oh thanks, man! Makes me really happy to hear
Gorgeous! Cinematic and loved the story. Well done!!! ❤
This is one of the best Ai films out there! Come work with me!
Thanks man! Just sent you a LinkedIn request (Dale W.)
I saw this on Twitter and had to find you here and watch again. An amazing achievement, especially the consistent characters!
Oh man, thank you for coming here. I really appreciate that
Bro, great work to hire Ron Perlman as a monster! 😁
So good man. So good.
Appreciate it, Aze!
loved it! 😍
awesome work
Oh shit this was amazing!! Well done!
Thanks!
This is really good! Congratulations! Will there be a Part 2?!
Thanks! No - I was actually lucky enough to be given my own series with two streaming platforms. A lot of work ahead 😬
This is so advanced wow ❤❤
Can u upload full process of this
Its amazing
Thank you!

Amazing ✨🔥
Software name?
This one was made by taking Midjourney Images to Luma Labs (Dream Machine)
Was the hallway scene Runway or DreamMachine?
The only Runway shot was of a lifeless leg at the very end scene (“where’s Henry?”), because Luma kept making the leg move no matter what I prompted
@@TheReelRobot ok you did most of it with Luma. Will your course cover Luma prompting eventually?
