I love the square edges. It makes the phone much easier to hold. The curved edges of pervious phones made it slippery to hold

I'd say it is the best all round phone for the average user. But there are other phones that are better in other areas. This is coming from a 12 Pro Max user.
Pixel 4a is probably the best all round phone including value for money.
I wish they didn't include the magsafe on the 12 Pro in exchange of a bigger battery. I wouldn't complain one bit!
I dunno. I’ve used the 12 Pro and while not quite as long lasting as the 11 Pro, it still gets you through the day pretty well, even with heavy use.

iPhone 12 Pro has been an absolute champ for me. Love the size, not too big but still has plenty of all the power I'm looking for. Along with the versatility from the camera system. Battery life is about above average. Its significantly better with LTE only mode though. If it had some better multitasking and ProMotion I'd be in heaven.

I just upgraded from the XS Max to the 12 Pro Max and the camera setup is so much better, it is much more versatile. I also feel like this is the best iPhone design yet.
How is the battery?
@@jorizzblason I'm ending days on the 12 pro max with about 60%. That's with about 4 hours of screen time.
I upgraded to a silver 12 pro from a gold XS. I love it. Use a MagSafe clear case. Like the square sides. All about noticeable change. Love the Belkin MagSafe car mount. Love the MagSafe wireless charger. Next upgrade in 2 years.
I cycle my iPhones which each release. With 5G new design next phone another 2yrs. Side note took me 5 months from the initial release of the iPhone 12 Pro.
(Just my own opinion, wish I had an iPhone to compare) Keep up the great content Nick! I think that if you're really trying to go for that premium look, the iPhone 12 Pro is the kind of aesthetic that you should invest into. Especially if you value taking photos as much as possible. But, for the average person, I believe that you would get more value from the iPhone 12. I think the iPhone 12 Pro is a beautiful phone, but a bit disappointing with 60 Hz refresh rate for such a premium cost.
2800mAh is terrible but my 12 Pro still lasts 9-10 hours
Yup somehow it pulls off some great battery life regardless!

I use my phone pretty heavy and I average about 11-12 hours. No reason to complain.
I was thinking of the 12 pro but am skeptical because reviewers are making me think that you wont even last 3 hours on the 12 pro so am even confused whether to get the 12 pro or not, I dont even game on smartphones just browsing and video watching which I do most of the times offline please any advice

I have an X and my face id messed up, Idk if I should wait for the new iphones probably with fingerprint sensor, or 11 pro / 12..the only problem with the x for me is the battery and its a bit narrow. I like the wide screens on the 12 series

You don't. It changes depending if it's day or night. Same with the clock widget.
What’s the screen protector you’re using?
I’m using the belkin anti glare screen film. I would always go for glass until now with the new material used on the front of the phone I decided to use a film instead of glass.
I’m watching this on my 5.8 iPhone 11 Pro still gives me 2 days of battery life with 98%BC after over a year of use I’m impatiently waiting for 2021 iPhones.

I have the 12 Pro for about a week and I got it with iOS 14.1. After I updated to 14.3 Apple Music became buggy and sometimes randomly freezes and crashes, notably when editing the library. At least the phone is fast enough to restart the app quickly, but I hope they fix it in the next update.

@@Maghraabi lol it wouldn’t go down anytime soon don’t worry. My iPhone X of 3 years is currently at 90% I am a heavy heavy user charging my phone to full 2-3 times a day from 30-40%

6GB of RAM was enough for me to choose the 12 Pro over the 12.
12 Pro Max on the other hand is way too big! I'll just bring my handy powerbank if I need extra juice outside I won't be needing that as much because I just stay at home most of the time.

Oh dear!! That horrible notch eating on the screen when you zooming is just BAD in every sense of the word!! That's why I still prefer the 8plus for content consumption despite the 2 bezels top and bottom.
You can just zoom out...
@@tbm7301 you don't zoom out. Either you get the default screen size for videos which is noticeably smaller than that of the 8plus or when you zoom in you get the notch cutting into the screen plus you lose content on the video.

@@samanthajames9773 Very original. It's from my use of iphones especially the 8plus which I still own and the 11 which I got rid of. I've done videos proving that the notch is terrible and it should have never ever existed. Not just the notch, the hole punch too.
@@samanthajames9773 Check my video "My favourite smartphones of 2020". In that video I put the iphone 11 and 8plus side by side and show briefly that the notch hinders the viewing experience massively.

I have a question about iPhone 12pro I have a 11pro for my daily driver and I want switch to the new 12 pro. Or 12 pro max an Ian consider about the size if it fits on pocket put I don’t want it small like the 11pro and if I took the big one 12 pro max I am afraid to be bigger and not usable for a big device like it !!! Literally just keep the 11 pro unless you are in desperate need of a bigger phone. The 12 pro is actually bigger than the 11 pro.

Year on year apple continues to show iterative upgrades, because at its core, iOS is so basic and simple, lacking in functionality and features. When i use an iphone, thats it. There’s literally nothing to it. Why give us the most powerful chip in a phone but bland, boring software that doesn’t utilise its power. Why give us un interactive widgets that are just a bigger version of an app icon. No split screen. No desktop mode. No customisation. This lack of software innovation leads to NO difference in experience when switching to next gen iphone. Why not just opt for an iphone 11 pro instead. Its camera is excellent. For what ios needs its performance is amazing. This jump in power between generations is only noticeable when opening desktop class apps that need a lot of power in the first place.

The worst phone to waste your money on. 5G is not a reason to buy this bloated phone. There are better phones even on Apple's lineup. Not even a freaking 120Hz display and a USB-C Port.
