Update (June 21): I'm using the 12 now, so rip 6s, though i'm still keeping it as a second phone since it still functions well, only has battery problem and that's it.

Eh, you made a big mistake. You would’ve saved more money in the long run buying a phone with 5g and Qualcomm modem rather than intel. In a year, you’re going to be downloading and uploading things much slower than everyone else and also have worse reception

@@andrea-ti2bc I’m talking about the future. A 5g phone will last a lot longer than buying a 4g phone. Also, it’s not only about 5g. The new iPhones have Qualcomm antennas that give much better reception and even 4g speeds. In even just 1 year, iPhone 11s and older will be so slow compared to all new phones

I just upgraded to iphone 11 from Iphone 6s and I love it. The battery last almost all day and the camera is fantastic. I chose 11 cuz i am a college student so 100$ different between the 12 and the 11 is a lot for me. Plus, the 2 phones seem to share a lot of features

Just upgraded from my base iPhone 7 to a Base iPhone 12. Loving this upgrade so much. I somewhat understand why some people always want to upgrade as soon as the newest product comes out but personally I would never do it. New phones are supposed to last at least a couple years imo. A friend of mine just recently upgraded to an iPhone 11 Pro from a iPhone 4. He took care of it easily, maybe got it fixed once or twice.

Bad idea to still have the 4, sometimes people don’t wanna spend a lot but compromise their security. iPhone 4-6 are far too old they can get hacked easily. If you do online banking and stuff it’s ideal you buy a supported device. I rather spend 500-1k bucks on a new phone rather than get hacked and risk my money in the bank being stolen

iPhone 11 for me. Because since in my place I heard that now the iPhone became cheaper than today. Which is now the same price as the iPhone XR. And only because of that, I never ever ever have an iPhone once. So I think iPhone 11 is still a better device.

No oled display just kills the deal for the 11. It has worse battery life too, has thicker bezels, and the phone dimension are also bigger.

Thanks for the intensive and informative comparison between two. I’ve been debating for so long which one to get. I seriously considered the 12 because of its square edge (I’m a clumsy person who has a tendency to randomly drop stuff) but the 11 seems more efficient to me. I rely heavily on my phone so I need one with a good battery life and it seems the 11 has it.

After watching loads of videos (including yours which were seriously helpful) I went for an iPhone 11 over the pro and the pro max. Honestly, I have no complaints with the iPhone 11, other than its slightly too big if you like to use it with one hand. I’ve been using it to film and edit for my channel (use it all day for other tasks too) and after 3 and a half months the battery health is still at 100% and the 4K 60 video stabilisation is amazing! I only use the low power charger (5w I think) as want to preserve the battery life (it’s slow but lasts at least a day when charged to full). Think the size of the iPhone 12 screen and the resolution look great as find the 11 just slightly too big, but not worth the upgrade really. If I were deciding between upgrading to the 11 or 12 though, then that’s a bit more difficult. Appreciate you including the iMovie export times but would it be any different if you were exporting videos to files instead of to the photos app? Only ask as I tend to do that to avoid uploading to iCloud.

This solidified my decision to get more value out of my 11 Pro Max Midnight Green before moving along. Lots of variables and many refinements to be realized before it is a stellar value. Eventually Apple will have MagSafe attachments and data transfer that will make these cameras seem primitive. Great days ahead but I’d watch for MagSafe glass polishing on the back and would encourage you to ceramic coat it since you will probably go without a case as usual. For now at 97% battery life, we’ll see you on the next video.

Man, I can’t thank you enough for the detailed logistics comparison on these two versions of the iPhone. Believe it or not, I’m just entering the iPhone market, and wasn’t sure what the difference would be from the 11 to the 12, and if it would be better to save money, or go for the gold (so to speak). My current 3G flip phone (that’s right, I said flip phone) is about to have its service dropped, so I’m finally forced to enter into the “New”era of the iPhone. Never needed all the bells and whistles, but now it’s time. Thanks again for the comparison video. I found it extremely helpful. And oh yeah, we do own several iPads, both Mini and Air.

I have a 6s and am looking to upgrade. The 12 shape looks so nice compared to the 11 but for $200 more its hard to justify also the possible screen flickering is a bid turn off if it does end up affecting me. Still on the fence for which one to pick within the next week or so but I feel the 11 is the most worth it for $600.

2:22 harder to break, means easier to scratch(softer material). Harder to scratch means easier to break.(Harder material). So they are right it is harder to break. But it conpensates with being prone to scratches

I upgraded from my iPhone Se first gen to the iPhone 11 and I’m happy with it , I didn’t see any benefits of choosing the iPhone 12 over the 11 , in my life I’ve used android phones and also iPhones but one thing that I always liked about android phones is that they had great battery life ( some of them ) , I can’t say that to iPhones so this time I chose the phone with the bigger battery and I love the battery life on the iPhone 11 , it’s seems ridiculous to me that they made the battery smaller on the 12 .
