Ok I’m so confused on the Faye storyline, why can’t they just….not do anything unethical for like 5 seconds and she’d be out of there? Or am I missing something lol
I think she’s there to observe but her agenda is to catch them in the act. She wants them to do something especially Harvey and she wouldn’t leave until she found something.
Their problem was that Harvey and Samantha couldn’t help but cross ethical lines, even Louis did by trying to get Benjamin to hack the Bar. They seemed incapable of flying straight with the leadership it had. Also, it didn’t help that Faye goaded them left and right, and she enjoyed doing it. Her agenda was to try and catch Harvey. It was why she accused him first of fabricating evidence before then accusing Samantha and firing her. But you’re right that the easiest way out would have been to keep their noses clean. They just couldn’t give up winning by any means necessary.

She'd simply stay until she found something. She won't just leave.
She wouldn't have left. She was intentionally pushing them into a corner. She was practically trying to coerce them into crossing lines
First🙂. On a serious note, they had to make Fae look bad to oust her, but she was trying to get them in line, and rightfully so.
