The shows writing was amazing
this line gets me everytime cuz i also put my hand up because this man is crazy asf!!

I love Mike,Jessica and Harvey's sequence of bluff here.
- Mike bluffing his way out of the meeting by explaining a lot of things that doesnt have confirmation
- Mike throws the folder in the middle of the table then signals Harvey he doesnt have it
- Harvey hasten to pressure Hardman so the board will turn their focus on him
- Jessica notices the bluff and controls the crowd by praising the board and then proceeds to pressure Hardman.
- To top all that, Hardman cant check the papers because it will throw his guard off knowing he is guilty.
What a well written sequence.

*_“shut up Louis”_*
LOL the disrespect, and infront of all the partners too
If i recall correctly, Hardman had basically 'bought' Louis's vote via blackmail or something therefore Louis is on the 'other side'

Blackmaile? He bough his loyalty
Louis Litt is classic example of what lack of respect and love can do to a person. Someone who cries when his pet dies, loses a case when he believes he lost the only girl he had in his life resorts to evil and dubious actions only if he has been let down by the ones he wished loved him, respected him . His craving for this recognition is so high that he accepts Hardman's bribe of being made senior partner, not because he is disloyal to the firm or is unethical but only because he finds glitter in his eyes when he believes that finally there is one person in the firm who is giving him what he so strongly believes he deserves :)

2:43 Mike shook his head to Harvey indicating he didn't get the signature. And Harvey went with the bluff. Small yet interesting detail.
Funny how it was the first move you see Harvey pull in the show
That’s my favorite part
Woah I missed that
Nice catch, thanks
Yea I definitely thought that was a nice touch.
Harvey - You know that signing someone's name is fraud right ?
Mike - I didn't sign anyone's name. I signed my own name.
@Willdoitnd it’s right after this scene in season 2 episode 10
Harvey did the same thing in the very first episode. Some memo about a fire drill
This video should have had that last lines
“I mean, seriously, how often do you really look at a man’s shoes?”
"i didn't sign anyone's name. i signed an illegible scrawl that is no one's name at all"
The way Jessica ignored Hardman's, "You have no proof of that" and just continued to get him voted off the firm was just mind blowing. Jessica is truly how a leader should be.

the sentence actually makes no sense since the whole firm is Harvard educated .

The most badass moment of this scene to me was when Jessica completely ignored Daniel's "you have no proof of that". She didn't even acknowledge him talking. Just continued to plow him a new one without skipping a beat.

That is why Harvey acted quickly and accused him of lying to take his mind off it because he understood from mike’s expression that the affidavit didn’t have kemp’s signature.

@@TheCursedCat1927 you are not fully correct. What you said is true but Louis did trust that Daniel made him Senior Partner even if he realized it was to buy his vote. But Louis is all about the firm. He loves his firm, he loves his bylaws. So yes while he saw that Daniel was losing he also saw that the guy he was backing was a traitor to his own firm. Technically you can say that Louis change sides for both reasons tho.

Did anyone else notice the little shake of his head that Mike gave to Harvey 2:44
He couldn't get him to sign the paper, so he basically lied
He was telling Harvey that he was bluffing
If you recall, Mike usually shakes his head a lot to Harvey. Like when Harvey thinks that Mike won't be able to do the job (as we can think in this case) or as a matter of their jokes. Due to which I believe that Harvey thinks that Mike has actually got the signature required. As a matter of fact, Harvey himself didn't know he was bluffing till later on when he actually revealed what had happened.
@@shubhagarwal3776 Harvey actually knew he was bluffing. The only thing Mike clarified was that he signed on his own behalf, rather than faking the client's signature. They have fun dialogue about it in Harvey's office.
@@evrenius18 nah man, u got it wrong. What do u mean by the point thing he clarified was that Mike signed it. The subtle nod to tell Harvey it’s fabricated always gives me the chills.
The subtle nod from Mike to Harvey to tell him they didn't have what they needed, but Harvey had to bluff.
I wonder what would have happened if Daniel had checked the file, Harvey and Jessica would have looked like fools, not that I wanted it to happen, but that's what makes it non real

i loved the first few seasons of Suits. These scenes prove how great it was early on
Who else thinks Harvey's and Jessica's relationship was so much more fun to see develop than Harvey's and Donna's. I was never really a fan of the Harvey Donna relationship. Always felt it was overrated...
Harvey and Donna were romantic. Jessica and Harvey felt like a sibling 1 with bossy older sister and rebellious younger bro. I felt like that
Yeah the whole power couple dynamic with Donna. Pure vanity and ego. With Harvey and Jessica, it was like them against so many different shady characters
I always preferred Harvey and the therapist
456 546465 Exactly
ID have liked Mike and Jessica to be closer than they were. Jessica became a mother figure in his life.
This show is propped up by witty banter. Just like sherlock was. But both also have great acting. Louis, jessica, harvey, and mike were amazing
"You know last time I was ambushed in this garage, I gave in. Not this time."

The most standout differentiation for me was how Hardman raises his hand for his vote, but Jessica doesn't bother for hers.
In an alternate universe..... Jesse let Gale go and he went off to become a lawyer
I love how even the other partners are like let's let him do what he wants and vote Hardman out and act like he is a part of our crew 😊

I watched Suits before Breaking Bad and Hardman (David Costabile) plays a completely different character. Solid Actor. Both shows were phenomenal.💯
Holy cow. Never struck me that they were the same actor. Amazing.
He was there in billions and also in the movie Lincoln directed by Spielberg (in the iconic scene, "buzzards guts man, I am the president..."

Louis does have some morals
@@theoutsiderjess4869Louis is also playing the long game, better to vote on Harvey and Jessica’s side since it was obvious the room turned on Daniel and he was on his way out.

The art of legal bullshitting. Harvey was a great teacher to Mike.
When Daniel was let go from the firm, he went underground and took on a new alias: Mike Wagner aka Wags, now COO to Bobby Axelrod of Axe Capital.
thanks to netflix i got to splurge hours and hours on "suits", often until 3 am. intoxicating, riviting, well written , well acted, and a true fashion show, from Jessica's wardrobe at the office to the parade of multi-thousand dollar men's suits. Also, the finely defined characters and their quirks, loyalities, and passions, story lines with conflicts and legal logic
Same reasons I love it,you know what youre talking about !!
Jessica is one of the examples of strong female leader
I wouldn't be surprised if there was some Amazon in her blood. She did provide the voice for Wonder Woman in the DC MMO.
You're telling me an entire room of lawyers past on reading the document even the guy whose position depends on what was written in that single piece of paper 🤣
My thoughts too. If it wasn’t alluded to multiple times, and the accusation didn’t last as long as it did, I could suspend disbelief. But someone would’ve looked at it. You don’t make it to senior partner by being sloppy

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Mike and Hardman never had any trouble with each other up to this point. Yet Mike is excited to get rid of him, simply because he is Harveys arch-nemesis.
It's like I hate them because my best friend hate them. In this case, it's I hate them because my boss hate them. I love the Harvey - Mike dynamic in the show.
It's called loyalty
It’s more so because Harvey told Mike what kind of person Hardman really was.
