Forstman (Eric roberts) will always be one of the scariest guys on suits, not because he's physically intimidating, but he was able to out smart govt. Agencies, top tier lawyers, and financial advisors.
She's a great character, and an easy well deserved fan favorite. But everyone can be wrong sometimes, and it pays to see them not treated like a great character at the times where they aren't being one.

I do love the fact that Jessica is shown as being the boss because she **IS** the boss. She's also one of the only characters that is able to sway Donna or throw her off her game, it's kinda refreshing to see such a strong boss character.
Not inaccurate, sadly. Jessica is by far the most pragmatic of all the Name partners in Suits, with only Daniel close to her (but he is far too selfish to be trustworthy). Louis from the final season, however, that one is a much better lawyer, as in, no longer have Harvey size chip on his shoulder.
When harvey messes up he remains calm and fixes it in the most effective way possible. When louis messes up he paniks and does the first reckless thing he can think off. Srly if it wasnt for Katrina he would have spiral to dangerous levels. She was really smart and knew her place unlike mike who goes head on with anyone even if he is still an associate. Though I have to admit she was pretty mean to rachel when they first met.

There is a specific camera shift when she responds that makes her smaller than usual which i think represents that she was on the back foot for the first time when talking to Louis. I don’t like Donna at all, she’s a really annoying character. But she is absolutely spot on with every single thing she says here. Harvey endangered the entire form from the very first episode in a way far greater than what Louis did. Harvey should understand how Forstman coerces people seeing as it happened to his brother and Mike. And Jessica would 100% have forgiven Harvey for doing this WITHOUT firing first (as she did with Donna). Jessica has never had confidence in Louis and it’s often been too harsh a position. Donna was right here. The Donna haters in the comments need to get a life.
Following the discussion with Katrina, Louis puts the shares back on the market without waiting for Harvey's approval. She tells him that if she doesn't hurry and find out, Malone will take her victory. Katrina is the one who falsify the document signed by Louis with Fortsman to make Harvey look guilty.
For all the great writing and wonderful acting I fear that few see the real message omnipresent in this series. It's that core transaction and motive matters. Essentially, know why, truly why, you make the choices that you do. If your base motive is inward you will eventually corrupt all of your transactions. These folks are highly entertaining, but none of them are admirable.
I'm not understanding the Donna hate. She is right, Harvey made so many mistakes. (Even ones that put the firm in danger) but he gets off and Louis doesn't?
Gotta love how Harvey was saying Louis could have said no at any point as if they weren't going to blame him if he had denied the forstman deal that saved the firm in the first place
First of all, I have never watched the show. I came across some vids on tik tok and was immediately interested--especially bcuz i have a kid that just graduated from law school. I still haven't actually watched it, but rather have been binge watching TH-cam clips and it seems like a pretty cool series.. One negative is that Louis just doesn't do it for me. He doesn't have the look and his character is probably so far off from his real personality that it comes off as trying too hard for him to portray Louis.
Apparently in this firm, committing a felony is "making a mistake," whether it's tax evasion (Louis), tampering with evidence (Donna), or accessory to insider trading (Harvey). Granted, out of all of them, Harvey's is the most forgivable since he didn't really know Forstman was manipulating him. However, Jessica and Donna both warned him to stay away from Forstman, so I suppose he had to learn the hard way.
Forstman is probably the only guy that visibly makes Harvey nervous & scared. An incredible villain.
It's hard to believe he was caught by Harvey using a hidden mic.

Louis in the early seasons made decisions based on emotions which hurt him as a lawyer but that got better overtime .

I don't think Mike would make this common mistake, and I'm disappointed that the writers made it--or had him make it.
Don't get me wrong--the writers are brilliant. Way, way smarter than me. But the correct expression is actually "champing at the bit."

Katrina and Louis are lawyers. We watch this shows for lawyer, not a receptionist that somehow knows everything and always knows what to do.

I don’t like Donna at all, she’s a really annoying character. But she is absolutely spot on with every single thing she says here. Harvey endangered the entire form from the very first episode in a way far greater than what Louis did. Harvey should understand how Forstman coerces people seeing as it happened to his brother and Mike. And Jessica would 100% have forgiven Harvey for doing this WITHOUT firing first (as she did with Donna). Jessica has never had confidence in Louis and it’s often been too harsh a position.
Donna was right here. The Donna haters in the comments need to get a life.
It's not a Matter of being right or not. Jessica is her boss, and Donna was way out of line because she's used to her familiarity with Harvey.

For all the great writing and wonderful acting I fear that few see the real message omnipresent in this series.
It's that core transaction and motive matters.
Essentially, know why, truly why, you make the choices that you do. If your base motive is inward you will eventually corrupt all of your transactions.
These folks are highly entertaining, but none of them are admirable.
People feeling satisfied over Donna being put in her place is so gratifying.

Everyone is talking about Harvey and Louis and Jessica and Donna, but I really love how loyal Katrina is to Louis.
The only realistic thing here is how Jessica acts. Never trust the higher lever Management, they are all snakes. Speaking from experience.
Gotta love how Harvey was saying Louis could have said no at any point as if they weren't going to blame him if he had denied the forstman deal that saved the firm in the first place
First of all, I have never watched the show. I came across some vids on tik tok and was immediately interested--especially bcuz i have a kid that just graduated from law school. I still haven't actually watched it, but rather have been binge watching TH-cam clips and it seems like a pretty cool series.. One negative is that Louis just doesn't do it for me. He doesn't have the look and his character is probably so far off from his real personality that it comes off as trying too hard for him to portray Louis.
Do these people ever sleep, looks like they stay in that office to all hours of the night. Lol

Apparently in this firm, committing a felony is "making a mistake," whether it's tax evasion (Louis), tampering with evidence (Donna), or accessory to insider trading (Harvey).
Granted, out of all of them, Harvey's is the most forgivable since he didn't really know Forstman was manipulating him. However, Jessica and Donna both warned him to stay away from Forstman, so I suppose he had to learn the hard way.
