@@klungelair I have tried a few basic 3D printed boomerangs myself but I find the PLA I use it rather brittle so it can break quite easily. Other filaments are more resilient but at the moment I only use PLA. I am still pretty useless at throwing them anyway, so they never get a fair test.

@@GrandadsOtherChannel indeed they break verry easy, and for testing a boomerang you have to know how to throw, how to change your throw when the boomerang has a different flight and if the tuning is bad they can come down verry hard.
For practish your throw, find a good boomerang and get to know it well, make sure you can throw and catch it mant times on a row. Even better is to find a boomerang friend and let him teach you, he can give you a few tips how to and not to, keep on trying ir is realy fun and relaxing sport

You could use polypropylene filament for making them. PP is best plastic for making durable boomerangs. I had Adam Caroll Mate which is thrown more than 15000 times in last 2 years and had resisted more than 100 crashes on concrete without any significant damage.
P.S.- I don't have 3D printer so I don't know whether PP filament is there or not.

I also do not have a 3D printer. And yes pp is one of the best materials

Great demo of expert tuning: and resilience to missing wing!

3D printing is future of boomerangs. Boomerang sellers may sell 3D layouts of boomerangs in future and buyer would print them at home.

At this moment it looks that the material breaks to easy, but I do not know what else is out there

@@klungelair I think the breaking of 3D printed booms is maybe due to type of plastic. Also, in 3D printing, the whole boomerang is not printed at once but rather made from smaller segments(you understand it) which are stacked on one another and hence stick to one another due to heat. So the whole boom is made from smaller sections which are easy to break.
The reason why injection mold booms are good is because all plastic polymers stick to each other in a better way.

Do you have a link for the boomerangs?

No I do not, someone els made them for me.
You can ask him or look at his side, maybe you can find them there.
