  • Benji is BACK with a new experiment, courtesy of a local thrift store! This handmade aboriginal boomerang is a real work of art and Benji is a real piece of work as he tries to get his $12 investment back in his hands. At this point, the damages are probably higher...

    Thats an ornamental unit. The real ones are much larger. And its thrown the other way around.

    I threw it like a frisbee, side arm.
    It would go straight and flat until it caught the air and go up and curve until it slid off in an arc. Eventually coming back.
    Like rolling a ball up a hill. The hill is the air. Rolls up the air and slides back off in your direction.
    Can do the same throwing a frisbee into the wind.

      I think that's a display unit. Decorative.
      Could be wrong of course.
      Ours was about twice the size of that one. I don't remember the airfoil shape. I think it was basically flat but much longer. Don't remember there being a top or bottom.
      I don't think it mattered which way we threw it. Just as long as it was thrown towards the breeze and with a strong flick.
      We did manage to get it to come back pretty close. Like frisbee for one player.😏
      Good luck.

    TH-cam is watching us. Last night I thought I take the boomerang out and just have fun with it - It was first time in like, 5 years. I didn't even say a single word about the boomerang, ALL I FUKING DID WAS TO TOUCH IT AND THINK ABOUT IT. This morning, I'm getting this video in my feed for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Coincidence?

    Next time try throwing it like you’re skipping a rock on the water except you’re trying to skip the boomerang on the wind. The way you’re throwing it now looks like you’re trying to slice the wind in two 🪃💨

    Bro, I got the same 14" Murra-Wolka made in 2002 traditional returning boomerang from Australia. It's really high-skill thing. Not easy to throw it right way so it can return straight to your hands. It took me almost two days to throw it correct way so it returned to me ;)

    so u make a video about something that u havent even looked up before?
    I mean there are dozenz of guides on youtube bro.
    this video was a bit sad to watch
    and i mean isnt it obvious to change the technique of it doesnt work.. it cant fly like ur holding it, because its like a airplane wing.
    It needs to be more leveled to the ground. Like a in between of what ur doing and skipping a stone over water.
    but despite that, i like the video quality. Looks professional.

  • @Ghost2743

    You're holding it vertically, it's curving right into the ground.. The angle of the boomerang relative to the ground matters too. But then again idk wtf I'm talking about.

  • @ReepS506

    • @MawcDrums
      @MawcDrums หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nah you throw boomerangs vertical and then then self level. You're supposed to throw it with the point of the triangle facing backwards and the two ends facing forwards. it looks like this boomerang just sorta sucks.

    • @arunashamal
      @arunashamal 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      you throw boomerangs vertical, like if you are holding a long bow, but the bowed part, in your direction, instead of the target..

    • @HonaRama24
      @HonaRama24 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It doesn’t matter which way the elbow of the boomerang is pointed when you throw it. What matters is the direction of the rotation - the airfoils have to be moving through the air in the right direction - just like an airplane wing. (Also, that is a decorative boomerang - it won’t come back without modifying the arms.)
