I think you could benefit from building a downdraft-table. It seems like it would be the perfect application when you’re sanding your parts. If you built it with a strong enough fan and proper filtration, it might even work as a downdraft fume extractor while you’re soldering on the new pcb holder.

It will hold through hole components on the board, if you need to flip the pcb and solder from the bottom.
The moment I saw him adding it I thought, well I must be learning, I know what that is for! HAHAHA! Man, that was one nice final touch. I absolutely have to build this! Been soldering small components, smalll boards, and learning. This, is just awesome!

I presume that is related with the materials to glue, right?
Just glue options ... I mainly glue plastic with dichloroethane, others on the occasion, for example, a part from felt was glued with epoxy

@@V.Perinski не, про зажим вала я понял как устроено; в центре согнутая лапа с кружком для чего?
@@vandenbudenmayer8441 этот пантограф для прижима размещенного, еще не припаянного дип компонента к плате, чтобы при перевороте он не выпал. Собственно для комфорта и свободы рук :) На кружочке войлок для того, чтоб при пайке не расплавить пластик. Конечно же такой инструмент в целом должен быть весь из металла, так как с феном тут не поработать, да и с паяльником определенно нежно прийдется работать. Но как альтернатива есть у Weller цена вопроса примерно 60 евро :)
Но мне хотелось это просто сделать :) А еще проверить механизм "трещетки" при помощи магнитов, вышло замечательно.

Everything is well designed. Love the frame. But, the design of a thumb screws...'come on...super glue and engineering? round bolt fixed with super glue? For this purpose is ok..but it is a wrong concept to use round bolts fixing with super glue. If you apply enough tightening force it will lose brake. Just use hex bolt and no need for glue.
I love what I do and the socket head screws dominate my use. Do you like it or not, I don't care about it :) You can do it your way :)
