For stomach acid production you need vit B1, iodine, chloride, zinc, potassium is also important. Bodybuilders eating white rice all day will run into issues with low B1. So it's a good idea to take benfotiamin and also iodine like from lugol solution couple miligrams.. People who don't add much salt into their foods will run low chloride as well.. Btw that was not "big tablespoon" of ACV that was like 30ml LOL. that is a lot. Be careful guys with ACV. It can really lower blood sugar. Don't take more than one tbsp at a time and also use straw for acidic drink like this unless you want to dissolve your teeth...
Yeah. Basmati I find to be superior in digestabilibty but the ground hogs day of food prep needs some diversity even while dieting. Everyone has stuck to the same old ideas never thinking to test out if they can eat other more nutritious carbohydrates and still get in shape.
@@dextergarner1286 Exactly for example buckwheat, quinoa, millet all gluten free very easy to digest, but loaded with micronutrients.. Also legumes are great and they will not cause gas if you eat them often and your microbiome adapted to them.. Everyone can try this. Start eat beans and you will fart couple of days and after that you will digest it easily like potatoes/rice..
This is like 7 billion years late but, do you think it is advisable to take Benfotiamin on top of a good B Complex? I use Thorne Basic B Complex, but I do have some Benfotiamin in my cupboard. Can I stack them? Or is that overkill for Thiamin quantity
@@shaymussun5738 Hi bro some extra B1 can't hurt. Especially if you are consuming more refined carbs, have a lot of stress, maybe consume some alcohol. B1 gets depleted pretty fast.. Just with B complex be careful with excess of B6. That is the only B vitamin that I know people get toxic from it if they take too much. It can cause some nerve issues..

I made this drink part of my morning constitution and really like it. It seems to help me control cravings and yes digestive benefits, I sub a kiwi for lemon juice, and put a digestive ad in like he says. Excellent
1:30 This is such a helpful video for gut health! Love the variety of drinks you’ve shared. I’ve been exploring more gut-friendly beverages on Digestive Wellness Drinks too, and the results have been fantastic!
Ive had stomach problems since I was a little kid, what works for me is plenty of water, light cardio in the morning, plenty of greens and understanding how my body digest certain macro nutrient. For me if I go above my body weight in protein I get a lot of bloating and discomfort and if I have a lot of fat my diet I get constant stomach aches but my body does really well is carbohydrates so I follow a very high carbohydrate diet and that works well for me and keeps my stomach in check.
Great info! Here’s a good one for another tip that I’m not sure if you’ve covered before: training in a busy gym. A lot of people have to work out after work in crowded gyms, so you can’t always execute in the order you want to do things. Goes back to exercise selection and if you know how to target certain muscles with specific movements, you can implement variations to train around people clogging up racks and machines.
Hahaha for real, that’s why it would be kind of interesting to hear his take on it. Only thing in can think of is if maybe when he was on the road with Brett Wilkin and the iron tour guys recently, hitting a bunch of gyms in the southwest. Probably still got to rent some of the places out though lol
Might want to separate some of these goodies. That psyllium will grab everything and run it out leaving you without the benefits of the aloe Vera and and apple cider. I’m learning a lot after having to do a gut reset for better digestion. Chewing a 2 cloves in the AM after your water can help with mucal production and gut lining. The apple cider vinegar would be better served on your salads or greens with high protein meals for optimal digestion. Even starchy carbs if you’re going to have them together. Bodybuilding is in need of a overhaul in terms of getting macros keeping in mind food combinations and of course the individuals ability to digest particular foods and combinations.
I’m 3 weeks left in prep. I’ve been training 5am fasted. Does it matter if I do this post training before meal one or should I do it at 4am when I get up before I work out. Not sure if there is any other benefits.
Ya should talk about exercise selection, when to change it up, and use yourself as an example as to how it's helped you since you changed up your training and entire plan shortly after the Olympia. So ya get the Tuesday Tip, and an update on how it's worked for you at the same time

I'd be interested in when Hunter last had to deal with a packed gym on a regular basis lol
