It literally took me more than five hours to get to the end of this conversation not because it was too long or I was occupied. I can't count how may times I had to pause for a moment and say shu as I process every thought shared by GC. I couldn't hold my tears everytime his eyes got teary, his choice of words has a way of making you experience the emotions as he explaines them, at some point I prayed and begged God for his complete healing Toro tjue 😢😢
I watch and listen to a lot of meaningful podcasts but this is by far the most relatable and very well addressed topic I’ve ever listened to. Until you go through that pain, you will not fully grasp a lot of what is discussed here and how you now approach faith. And by “the pain” I’m not only referring to the pain of divorce but to whatever situation that has brought that pain in your life and that’s what I find so beautiful about this particular episode, a lot was said without sharing the details, very respectful. Thank you for sharing and unpacking the layers of the healing journey in Christ, but most importantly for your honesty and genuineness, I could feel the rawness the through the screen. God Bless.
This is not just a message for marriage and divorce but also personal relationships with our personal people in our lives, be it parents, children, relatives etc. What he went through resonates so much with me because I felt like he was describing me to a Tee and the very difficult relationship that I had and still continue to navigate with my mother. Yho this man shifted the foundation of my heart because he mirrored my own feelings and experiences to the very last letter. That part he said about forgiveness being forever 🥹🥹 Also I wasn’t planning on staying until the very end but shoo, I stayed and kept repeating some parts just to hear it again.
I'm 20 and I'm not even married nor am I divorced but I relate to him so much. It's like someone put a mirror in front of me and showed a whole lot of things that I knew about myself but needed someone else to tell me in the most calming yet straight forward way. Sort of like a conviction. Giving people grace, forgiveness, anger, my relationship with God. Man I could go on but I neede this, wonderful podcast indeed. ❤
Wow! Hold on ngamatshe 😲 I have seen it even with fasting. We think if/when we fast our prayers will be answered fast. Which is why I'm against fasting for gain in the spiritual realm rather fast because it makes you limit your food intake or whatever 🍦
When he spoke about what leadership means to him now! Hai!!! 😭🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥Gc God has really done an amazing work in you. It's evident to us the listeners. May God continue to hold your hand.
Being decisive on what happens in a home and what doesn’t is the husband responsibility . What you allow you agree with . So so important and needs to be communicated from the beginning of the relationship. Before the marriage even comes .
I still need to absorb the profoundness of this conversation. (In fact this is a sermon)😭. God is truly showing off with the Makhs Ministry , The Holy Spirit just flows... The anointing in deeply entrenched. We thank You Jesus for your servants, Thank you fam for doing the Lord's work. Thank you GC for being so vulnerable may the Lord restore you mightily. 🙏
Thank you Gc. You have healed me with this conversation. I have never been married, but I have experienced pain none of us are exempt from it. You have helped me transmute it, Lerato said participate in it in a way that builds you up. Gc and I have a similarity he is so passionate, one thing about being passionate you go all in, when you hurt, you hurt deeply with no reservation…. But also maan the healing reveals a bigger purpose of why you had to go through the pain.
#heal I learnt so much even as a single woman watching this. I thank God for you guys and people like GC who put themselves out there so that others can learn and also heal❤
What a powerful and amazing episode. GC thank you for pouring yourself out like this. God is still God even if we do not get the answers “we” were praying for. God bless you my brother.
Heal Another thing I have learnt is that the sufferings we go through are never about us alone (Mr Makhs mentioned this as well), it is about the building up of the church. The vulnerability definitely has touched and helped someone out there. Just like how y'all mentioned having empathy towards people. Ultimately, the church gets built up to maturity.
This was such a life changing episode that every single person can take the pockets of wisdom shared on the podcast and apply them to every aspect of their life. This was a necessary conversation ❤ gave me so much hope
“The pain doesn’t go away, it just has a different kind of energy.” So many take aways Mhlantiwendlunkhulu. Siyabonga Kakhulu 🇸🇿🇸🇿🇸🇿Sibonge to the Makhetha’s for being the vessels of God in their contribution to healing the society 🙏🏾
Honestly this channel is so good for my soul. I'm really learning everyday. Just like sesi Phetho said that ,when it comes to divorce I look at the woman's emotions, the struggle she had and forgetting about the man.... May God continue restoring and healing. May God continue doing his work in his life. God is so amazing and we see him through you guys. He restores , he heals❤
Leading a busy life, i often listen to your podcast as i go along my day. This one had me put the broom down and listen. I have listened to it over and over. And yes, the emotions are raw, still. Such an authentic conversation. My parents having seperated, i resonated so much with with conversation, and more so, with the conversations I had with my father.
Phetola you asked questions in such a beautiful way; when you talked/asked about grief you said “is it that way…?” standing in humility is to ensure that the person you are asking is clear that what they will say will be accepted. You did not preempt anything. Wisdom🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 is profitable to direct.
This was so blissful. Talk about dying to self picking up your cross and following Jesus. Literally being a prisoner of Jesus 🙌🏿🔥…. There are certain parts of God you can only meet in the wilderness I tell you. Thank you GC, Thank you Mr&Mrs Makhs.
Thank you GC for submitting to God and allowing him to use you as a mouthpiece. The part about God’s will, and that it won’t always correlate with your will, but he is still God, stood out to me. And the part about the healing, and that we need to use God to channel the pain for his purpose ughhh🥹. You have no idea how you’ve ministered to me and to most of us. I’ll be rewatching this🥹THANK YOU SO MUCH🥹
I hope Gc took some time to reflect and cry after this conversation. It was a beautiful exchange! Thank you. What I truly appreciate about this conversation, beyond its honesty, is that it highlights how our earnest walk with God does not exempt us from being broken by Him and the stigma (in the church) that surrounds that process or season of our lives. It reminds me of the scripture in Job 13:15: "Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face."
#Heal. And I'll leave it at that because just like Lerato's expressions in this episode, I am left totally speechless. We thank God for your life Gc, and for your story. Stay blessed.
God is God of the mountains, and God is in the valley. He promised never to live you, and He has given you a merger of faith, knowing that you are not alone in this journey. He knows you will overcome. GS hold on to Him.
HEAL😄 Man, MAY GOD BLESS THIS MAN. I think that's just all I can say for now. God is really working through him. Thank him for accepting that calling despite the hardships
The conversation was healing ,thanks for being vulnerable and open to help us learn .Healing allows us to see setbacks as opportunities for renewal and to trust that even in disappointment, God is working to restore and guide us toward His purpose.
I hardly ever comment on podcasts, but maan this!!! May God bless the work you guys are doing and your guests. GC was very articulate, we thank God for the lessons and experiences. 🙌🏽❤️
17 minutes in and the Holy Spirit is checking me on something I said to my friend in the week, I said "ey marriage is scary also i don't know if I can because I have no foundation and reference point of marriage in my family". In my mind at that time I think I was convinced there must be a blueprint to marriages that work and that it is found in my lineage and if not traced then I'm destined to fail IMAGINE! My friend said "your foundation is God" and here is this conversation reminding me again. God bless you guys, you"re helping God transform us by the renewing of our minds.
Oh my word...this is Gcina Lukhele...I went to high school with this guy and I thought ahhh maybe it's not him...then he laughed and I was like yep, that laugh! Its definitely him ! and this guy's was just always laughing
I am crying because of how this conversation spoke to me and my current situation. Yesterday the Holy Spirit Led me to the book of James and it is as if this conversation just solidified that i have to heal from my current pain, i need to allow this pain to finish its cause so that i may lack nothing. Thank you so much. You know God is in the midst of someone when the wisdom of their pain gives you revelation regarding your pain, yet both individuals are facing different situations. When i clicked to watch about divorce, I did not know I would be healed even though I am not married nor divorced. Thank you, Jesus ❤
Such an amazing man of God, it's actually hard to believe that such good quality of Christianity still exists in the Church. We thank God for his life of servanthood.....God is Love! We can't wait to meet the new wife ❤❤❤
Shuuu, what an episode. Thank you for this flip side of the coin Makhs. As Christians we really need to talk about what it happens when marriage isn't forever. You articulated yourself so well Gc, thank you for sharing your testimony. God will honor you.
#heal This was so sad🥺 we never really listen to men regarding these things but blames them for things falling apart. You could hear his voice cracking🥺 i really thought it happened 7 months ago but he said 7 years😭
Oh my word , the wisdom and depth in this conversation. Thank you guys . Just hearing GC talk about God had stirred my spirit up . The honest and taking accountability. Thanks family
I had to watch this episode in two instalments because I was triggered. Divorce has no winners. The scars are permanent because you grieve a person that is still alive. I pray for you GC. You're the kind of man that one aspires for. Your strength is in your vulnerability. Much love.
The holy ghost was in the room ❤Lord thank you for this amazing podcast, keep using this couple for your Glory, protect and strengthen every guest that comes and open their hearts to us indeed you are a true God❤
Thank you the Makhs and brother GC for an amazing instalment with so many nuggets of wisdom. What really struck me is when he spoke about how we so boldly say “Even if God doesn’t do what we ask….” but what happens if He really doesn’t do it, what is our posture towards God then? Shooo let me go reflect 😮💨
This was really good, great conversation and I appreciated GC answering what’s asked, and sharing with wisdom. Loved it. Thank you dream team. Let me say that as much as the church (us being the church) doesn’t have these conversations, I’ve found that we also don’t know how to handle people’s news. We don’t know how to walk with those that are currently facing unfavourable situations. But GC, thank you for opening up the way you did. Stay blessed.
1: Aus' Pheto always looking beautiful, can't get over it. 2: I just love how you guys hype up all your guests in the intros. 3: Beautiful conversation. I come from divorced home, now father deceased. I am the youngest and never experienced the situation in depth, more like I was raised by a single mom because they divorced when I was 2 years old. This talk made me realize how this situation might have been for my older siblings and parents. I understand.

That part he said about forgiveness being forever 🥹🥹
Also I wasn’t planning on staying until the very end but shoo, I stayed and kept repeating some parts just to hear it again.
Thank you Lord for meeting Rakgadi’s real and present needs!
This how amazing our God is!
Sorry it was so loooooong 🙈
GC will marry again, a sweet lady, perfect for him, in Jesus' name
Amen!!❤
I agree that he needs a sweet lady.
#heal#
I'm 20 and I'm not even married nor am I divorced but I relate to him so much. It's like someone put a mirror in front of me and showed a whole lot of things that I knew about myself but needed someone else to tell me in the most calming yet straight forward way. Sort of like a conviction. Giving people grace, forgiveness, anger, my relationship with God. Man I could go on but I neede this, wonderful podcast indeed. ❤
Good talks
Wow,such an amazing and inspiring podcast. Thank you so much. I’m learning and may the almighty God continue elevating you🙏😊
Oh man! GC is a happy soul with thee most amazing smile😊..his teeth🤗😊
🙌🏾🙏🏾
This is him all the time!❤
“We’ve reduced God to the outcome of our prayers”
I felt that❤
Wow! Hold on ngamatshe 😲 I have seen it even with fasting. We think if/when we fast our prayers will be answered fast. Which is why I'm against fasting for gain in the spiritual realm rather fast because it makes you limit your food intake or whatever 🍦
Shuu
Yoooh I dnt believe I'm watching it for the 3rd time now,! Yoh GOD'S PRESENCE HERE!!!!
Praise Jesus!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Me too😊
When he spoke about what leadership means to him now! Hai!!! 😭🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥Gc God has really done an amazing work in you. It's evident to us the listeners. May God continue to hold your hand.
🙌🏾
One thing about the Makhs, they'll have life-changing conversations.
Thank you especially for this one. GC's perspective(s) is soooo beautiful.
Thank you 🙏🏾
Being decisive on what happens in a home and what doesn’t is the husband responsibility .
🙌🏾
Thank you Gc. You have healed me with this conversation. I have never been married, but I have experienced pain none of us are exempt from it. You have helped me transmute it, Lerato said participate in it in a way that builds you up. Gc and I have a similarity he is so passionate, one thing about being passionate you go all in, when you hurt, you hurt deeply with no reservation…. But also maan the healing reveals a bigger purpose of why you had to go through the pain.
A riveting instalment indeed, here to rewatch for the second time.🙌🏾🙏
Okay, I came to watch again. I wish I could like this a 100 times please.
#heal
I learnt so much even as a single woman watching this. I thank God for you guys and people like GC who put themselves out there so that others can learn and also heal❤
Amen!
What a powerful and amazing episode. GC thank you for pouring yourself out like this. God is still God even if we do not get the answers “we” were praying for. God bless you my brother.
Heal
Another thing I have learnt is that the sufferings we go through are never about us alone (Mr Makhs mentioned this as well), it is about the building up of the church.
Nkhosi Dlamini 🙏🏾
Indeed siyabonga
Honestly this channel is so good for my soul. I'm really learning everyday. Just like sesi Phetho said that ,when it comes to divorce I look at the woman's emotions, the struggle she had and forgetting about the man....
May God continue restoring and healing. May God continue doing his work in his life. God is so amazing and we see him through you guys. He restores , he heals❤
🙌🏾🙏🏾
Leading a busy life, i often listen to your podcast as i go along my day. This one had me put the broom down and listen. I have listened to it over and over. And yes, the emotions are raw, still. Such an authentic conversation.
My parents having seperated, i resonated so much with with conversation, and more so, with the conversations I had with my father.
Thanks for the feedback!

Facts!
Mrs Makhs is such a beauty ❤❤❤
Thank you❤️❤️🤗
Thank you GC for submitting to God and allowing him to use you as a mouthpiece. The part about God’s will, and that it won’t always correlate with your will, but he is still God, stood out to me. And the part about the healing, and that we need to use God to channel the pain for his purpose ughhh🥹. You have no idea how you’ve ministered to me and to most of us. I’ll be rewatching this🥹THANK YOU SO MUCH🥹
#Heal
Yooo, this conversation is so profound, being a divorcee myself, having been married for 26 years. 👏🤞
Heal!!
God uses our pain that we can empathise more with others...I think I now understand the difference between being empathetic and sympathetic
Stjoe this is GOOD!
#Heal. And I'll leave it at that because just like Lerato's expressions in this episode, I am left totally speechless. We thank God for your life Gc, and for your story. Stay blessed.
Who else cried when he started explaining who God is😭😭😭😭😭
Me🥺
Me!!! 🙋🏾♂️🙋🏾♂️🙋🏾♂️
It's heavy 😢😢
All of us 😭😭
We did!😢😢
God is God of the mountains, and God is in the valley. He promised never to live you, and He has given you a merger of faith, knowing that you are not alone in this journey. He knows you will
overcome. GS hold on to Him.
Watching this again.....I just can't get enough of it.
HEAL😄
Man, MAY GOD BLESS THIS MAN. I think that's just all I can say for now. God is really working through him. Thank him for accepting that calling despite the hardships
This is worth coming back to again and again… Holy Spirit led indeed
An episode I didn’t know I needed. Thanks to this guy for being obedient to his pain 😢😢
I cried yohhh...He's pain is so tangible but also God's presence 🙌
It’s the latter part for me!
So, I’m addicted to Phetola’s laugher. I don’t know how many times I rewinded that intro 😂😂😂😂😂😂
O tsheha ha monate jwang Phetola 😂😂
Aaao bathong! Ke a leboha!! I literally didn’t know I laughed this way until we started our YT channel😂😂😂😂❤

Please tell your friend I said “Amen!” 😅
“Christ is your firm foundation!”
#heal... This was so wholesome, raw and eye opening and a whole sermon on its own. God bless this man with the desires of his heart. Amen!
Oh my word...this is Gcina Lukhele...I went to high school with this guy and I thought ahhh maybe it's not him...then he laughed and I was like yep, that laugh! Its definitely him ! and this guy's was just always laughing
❤❤❤❤
Happy soul
I am crying because of how this conversation spoke to me and my current situation. Yesterday the Holy Spirit Led me to the book of James and it is as if this conversation just solidified that i have to heal from my current pain, i need to allow this pain to finish its cause so that i may lack nothing.
Thank you so much. You know God is in the midst of someone when the wisdom of their pain gives you revelation regarding your pain, yet both individuals are facing different situations. When i clicked to watch about divorce, I did not know I would be healed even though I am not married nor divorced. Thank you, Jesus ❤
God is Amazing in His Works!

I WILL LISTEN TO THIS CONVERSATION FOR YEARS TO COME!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS!!
Me too! 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Heal ❤ GC dropped so many gems, I’ll need to watch it again. Thanks for being so candid

Iyooooo the peace and love and happiness that Mr Lukhele has. Wow. God bless him!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
This episode was very painful but very restorative. I'm learning how to accept the will of God, even if its not according to my expectations. #Heal
Such an amazing man of God, it's actually hard to believe that such good quality of Christianity still exists in the Church. We thank God for his life of servanthood.....God is Love! We can't wait to meet the new wife ❤❤❤
Amen! Me too!!! 😊
The Makhs, what an amazing, emotional podcast. Felt like a much needed sermon. Thank you so much, GC...

🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Shuuu, what an episode. Thank you for this flip side of the coin Makhs. As Christians we really need to talk about what it happens when marriage isn't forever.
You articulated yourself so well Gc, thank you for sharing your testimony.
God will honor you.
🙌🏾
I really appreciate GC's honesty...wow...."abstinence is easy but purity is hard".....
#heal
This was so sad🥺 we never really listen to men regarding these things but blames them for things falling apart. You could hear his voice cracking🥺 i really thought it happened 7 months ago but he said 7 years😭
Sad indeed.
Oh my word , the wisdom and depth in this conversation. Thank you guys . Just hearing GC talk about God had stirred my spirit up . The honest and taking accountability. Thanks family
Amen! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I had to watch this episode in two instalments because I was triggered. Divorce has no winners. The scars are permanent because you grieve a person that is still alive. I pray for you GC. You're the kind of man that one aspires for. Your strength is in your vulnerability. Much love.
Thanks for your kind words and your prayers!
We trust God to help us #Heal
The holy ghost was in the room ❤Lord thank you for this amazing podcast, keep using this couple for your Glory, protect and strengthen every guest that comes and open their hearts to us indeed you are a true God❤
Amen 🙏🏾
“Suffering well” what a beautiful set of words. A gentle awakening ❤
Thank you Gc
Abstainence is easier, but purity is harder
I'm grateful to God by your testimony 🙌
Your wisdom got me glued. I kept going back to just listen to what you've just said. I'm blown away. God will bless you. I pray 🙏🙏🙏
Suffering and difficulty is more effective in teaching us about God than good times are....whuu I absolutely agree🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
M humbled by this segment 🙏
#Heal
I knew this would be an empowering conversation. Thanks guys.

As a Zimbabwean l was beaming with joy whenever l saw her and Sakhi together. Thank you Sakhi for being by ber side.
These 2 girls made history. ❤❤❤
So so profound how Gc puts a point across, I know I’m late but you know what this was not one to be missed. WHATTTT, every time he responds 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 I could feel Lerato when he get blown away😅
Lerato is one of the best active listeners I know! 🙏🏾
he is right, so are you though🤭 This one was extraordinary, I watch them(subbie from Botswana🙋🏻♀️ ) but never really comment. Aargh man you’re an amazing, interesting person to talk to that’s what refreshing means🙌🏻🙇🏻♀️🙏

Let the pain finish its work, its complete work in you so that you may not be found lacking.. so that you can be perfect. It's the work of pain to make us perfect. Oh Gosh, so healing❤
So profound
"Why are we doing this Jesus thing if we don't believe that we can go through the fire and not smell like smoke" 😭 Yoh, to live with God is a blessing
🔥🔥🔥
Man this episode made me emotional also.So many gems and wisdom shared ❤.GC Lukhele you gonna get married in Jesus name and your wife is gonna be blessed to have you as their husband.
