When i first saw your op-1 videos i wanted to buy one. Later seeing more and more videos of you i realized it's not the op-1 that creates this awesome songs: it's your talent! Thanks for sharing it.
Talent is maybe 10%. The thing that makes some people shine as bright as Jeremy is the hard work they put into what they love. Don't get discouraged, practice, and one day you will get comments like yours. ;)
there's this owl at the cemetery i work at and it leaves animal skulls in front of the garage every monday morning it's both cool and creepy because i'm unsure if it's a gift or a threat
In all seriousness, I loved everything about this video! What you’re able to create with that tool is an amazing display of both it’s, and your abilities.
i'm gonna call this track regulus which is the brightest star in leo since i'm writing this in late july, for leos i found out a regulus is also a small bird this is the regulus regulus aka the goldcrest once known as the golden-crested wren, the goldcrest is not only britain's smallest bird, but the smallest in the western palearctic. the average weight is around 5-6g; a wren weighs 7-12g. goldcrests are widespread throughout much of europe, but in southern europe are largely replaced by the similar firecrest. early ornithologists didn't believe a bird as tiny as a goldcrest could fly across the north sea unaided, and it was thought they rode on the backs of migratory woodcock or short-eared owls. exhausted migrants are typically unfraid of humans, and some will even land on people. RMR's videos are a big part of what got me back into music. I'm nowhere near as good at it as he is, of course, but I can't thank him enough for inspiring me to do things I love.
The male Goldcrest's surprising loud but high-frequency song frequently reveals his presence. The song can be heard from late winter until well into the summer, though many people of senior years find the song impossible to hear. #RedMeansBirdFacts
I know you've expressed some boredom with op1 videos, but I love when there's a new one. They're really not stale at all. There's even some nostalgia, because I discovered them when I picked this production hobby back up a couple years ago. As my ears mature, I'm able to pick out more of what you're doing in Ableton. Growth! Just wanted to say hi. Hope you and the boy are living your best life in your new home.
When you first played that melody in F minor I felt it practically in every bone of my body, I don’t know how you do it, but your compositions hit my resonant frequency. Love your work, keep being awesome
Hey RMR, just wanted to say I love your videos and your op 1 videos are the most amazing things for a new op 1 owner like me. They’ve helped me learn so much about it. Thank you, and keep on making awesome music!!
i prayed night and day for the last year and and half that you would never show people the easiest thing to do on an OP-1 and you just did it. Im not even fucking mad. that was so dang legit. if you havent fully shown the world the amazingness that is the OP-1 workflow yet then i have no idea what more you could do to make it happen. friggin kudos man. even when spoiling the secret for the rest of us who try, you still make it so original
Your OP-1 videos are always my favorites. I love your format, watching your process, and your kind words. Stay strong, friend. The world needs more warm-hearted people like you.
THIS IS THE CONTENT I SUBSCRIBE FOR. and I think about birds on the daily. I know so many facts about crows and ravens (which yes, are totally different birds and aren't hard to tell apart).
Every time I see one of your videos pop up, I can't help but smile. You always have the best tunes kicking around in your head. Thank you for taking the time to film the creation of new songs and upload them for us.
Whaat! I just realized that the wedding ring we designed a couple of months ago looks exactly like yours! Damn, when you try to be original, you just subconsciously copy someone...
my boyfriend and I have been fans of the channel for awhile now, lost my MIND when you threw a Bothell crow reference over these trACkS. As a person who grew up in Fremont and Bothell, a crow enthusiast, and a lover of synthesized arpeggios, this video really spoke to me on a lot of levels.
wow, this is my new favourite op-1 track, knocking I need u off the no1 spot!so much depth and emotions packed in, How you manage these things, Jeremy, I really don't know?! Well done!
this one is like in my top 5 Jeremy songs ever of all time in history. An ableton walkthrough would make my year, if you ever feel like creating one at some point. Cheers ❤
I appreciate where you're coming from with this video man. You got an interesting situation in life and it's really fun to dive into it with your videos. Not many people can relate to that constant drive to create new content, and you're handling it in an inspiring way. 6:05 hit me really good, thank you Jeremy.
These videos made be buy one in January, praise student loan and praise you for inspiring me to get creative once again!☺️ I’ve also used it in all my composition assignments so far and it’s awesome!
Usually I'm glued to the screen to see the man think, but this time I was distracted until I had this massive wait what?! moment around 10:05, that was awesome thx. (:
Glad to see you back on the OP! There really is something mesmerizing about this format. This has got to be my favorite song of yours so far. I'm glad to see you hop back on with some fresh grooves. (That being said, your approaching melody video was great. Please keep doing lessons.)
Glad to see some more OP-1, especially after your talk about how you felt a bit chained to it. Your fans will love the music regardless of what tools you use since your talent is what really speaks to us! Thanks for another amazing track :)
i mean, i can hear and see the making of this song, but in the end, while i hear the whole song, its still kinda new for me and thats so awesome! keep up with this cool work, really apreciate your doing!
Hey Jeremy, just wanted to say your hair comment really hit home for me :) I've been growing my bangs out and although I know you can't actually see them it was nice to have someone tell me they look good
hi there, pro-tip: you can take an old pair of headphones, and just cut the earbuds off and the jack plus wire is your new antenna. save you some space! (Or just keep the earbuds on)
I'm new to the channel but I love the music, the commentary, the bird facts, and your sense of humour. I enjoy watching these op-1 videos and can't wait for more videos in general. Have a good day.
You are pure inspiration, Jeremy. Thank you. Also about 18:15, one of those samples sounds very similar to one of the samples in Breathe by The Prodigy
I love this track so much, i reminds me of the weirder PS2 games I played. I remember there was this hoverboard game made for the Eyetoy for PS2, and for some reason this track is bringing me right back to that. It's a slick and cool track that flows in and out of sections really well. Good job!
I've seen a couple of your OP-1 videos now and I absolutely love them! I think it is because they remind me of Chrome Sparks, one of my favorite artists.
you have to be in the right mood to appreciate that this is one of the new ways music is percomformposed today *hic* plus awesome subtitling no voice narrative only text and sound---*splendid*---a police academy reference really? kappa---all that aside ty for posting comperposforming keep it up : )
everybody gangsta till someone samples the metronome
thanks for the cool comment god
I’m confused. I thought perhaps the rimshot was the metronome of electronic music
U got me Lol
I thought i was being cool. Like a homage? Commmmoooon!
In bird culture, this track is considered a great groove.
It is made of random debris i found in my carpet. I do not know what humans listen to.
In human culture your hackneyed joke is boring and played out. Track is sick though!
haha you win
@@KoltronZer0 thx
When i first saw your op-1 videos i wanted to buy one. Later seeing more and more videos of you i realized it's not the op-1 that creates this awesome songs: it's your talent! Thanks for sharing it.
Could not agree more!
Talent is maybe 10%. The thing that makes some people shine as bright as Jeremy is the hard work they put into what they love. Don't get discouraged, practice, and one day you will get comments like yours. ;)
yup.. he basically uses the thing as a midi keyboard and then says 'now im gonna take it into ableton and do the real song stuff'
You are so right man. He has some of 1 million op-1's for TE, only for people to realise it's just this god-like dude. Not just the machine
Make no mistake though, the synthesizer is an instrumental part in the making of this song due to this particular one's feature-set.
Red Means Recording is the Bob Ross of music.
thank you for saying this.
I swear
The best thing someone could ever say to an artist!
Yooo! I just commented that and then saw your comment! So true.
i saw the same on a jack stauber video
Red Means Recording posts OP video...Thumbs up before watching.
av8mm literally same
there's this owl at the cemetery i work at and it leaves animal skulls in front of the garage every monday morning
it's both cool and creepy because i'm unsure if it's a gift or a threat
He is reminding you of your gift of life. Which is probably a threat.
Nah, he's reminding you of the everpresent threat of death, which is probably a gift.
Owls vomit out what they can't digest. Also, birds often regurgitate food as a sign of affection.....so a gift :)
Horse heads should make you worry.
I want to see a reveal video where it turns out the OP-1 is glued really high up on a wall and you’re reaching up to it 😂
In all seriousness, I loved everything about this video! What you’re able to create with that tool is an amazing display of both it’s, and your abilities.

Thank god he isn't. These videos are what got me into music production. They inspire me so much, and I'm glad they're still coming.
RMR's videos are a big part of what got me back into music. I'm nowhere near as good at it as he is, of course, but I can't thank him enough for inspiring me to do things I love.
I was so pumped when I saw the antenna, knew we’d get some fun samples in there!! Love all your stuff jeremy
EDIT: lolnvm
but still, what we got was amazing
The male Goldcrest's surprising loud but high-frequency song frequently reveals his presence. The song can be heard from late winter until well into the summer, though

Whoo hoo new op 1 video from my favorite creator, you!
When you first played that melody in F minor I felt it practically in every bone of my body,
I don’t know how you do it, but your compositions hit my resonant frequency. Love your work, keep being awesome
I know how strange of a situation all of this OP-1 stuff was, but I just wanna say thank you. Nobody in the business does this quite like you :)
This Bird Facts video has a great soundtrack!
Hey RMR, just wanted to say I love your videos and your op 1 videos are the most amazing things for a new op 1 owner like me. They’ve helped me learn so much about it. Thank you, and keep on making awesome music!!

God I love this video, this track, and your weird ass captions. Thanks for making my Thursday start with a smile
Where I live, there are crows that throw nuts on the street for oncoming traffic to crack them
Comments talking about the metronome and the OP-1 comeback, but no one is talking about Berlin
Which video is the metronome reference from?

How are you not viral yet. The editing is simple and perfect, and the music you make is always a good vibe. Thumbs up here
Listened to this six times in one day already. Dude. You smashed it

Yesterday I was watching all the old OP videos and today there's a NEW one!! Great!
my boyfriend and I have been fans of the channel for awhile now, lost my MIND when you threw a Bothell crow reference over these trACkS. As a person who grew up in Fremont and Bothell, a crow enthusiast, and a lover of synthesized arpeggios, this video really spoke to me on a lot of levels.

the timing was almost nice
the beginning of the final track is givin me some serious c418 vibes lol
I think those videos were much better with the other font. I can't believe you dropped Telegrotesk for Oswald.

this one is like in my top 5 Jeremy songs ever of all time in history. An ableton walkthrough would make my year, if you ever feel like creating one at some point. Cheers ❤
I snagged your OP-1 sample pack and I’m LOVING the keys you built.
