Um... get out of my head, dude. I was literally smashing Hollow Knight on Switch until your videos inspired me to buy an OP-1, OP-Z and Deluge. Now I want to go back and finish it. Such a beautiful game. One of the greatest of all-time and I'm hyped for Silksong.
The singing ghost Marissa was the first ghost I encountered in Hollow Knight. She seemed really cool, so I used the dream nail to try to talk to her. This was the moment the game decided to teach me two things: 1) "Talk" and "kill" are on the same button. 2) The only way to recover from this type of accident is to START THE WHOLE GAME OVER. It's a great game, but it has some of the biggest "f**k you" moments I've ever seen in a game. This song, OTOH, is great... without a "but" attached.
I encountered a warrior spirit before any other ghosts, so I was able to deduce dream nail = ghost murder before I accidentally killed any of my new friends, luckily.
I think I accidentally deleted my original comment lol. Just wanted to repost that I adore how you're experimenting with new sounds while still retaining the same Red Means Recording style that we've all come to know and love. Keep up the amazing work, Jeremy!
